The 4 cyl used in these vehicles (World Engine starting 2007)
require OE plugs changed every 30,000 kms so start there.
Read the codes stored to see if it is a particular plug coil assy.

The Pentastar V6 was one of the reasons I bought my Journey. There is no way in H.E. double hockey sticks I'd buy a turbo engine. I tend to keep my vehicles till the floor rusts out and after year 7 any turbo, even with the most care, is likely to have issues and you better get a Brinks truck of money, if it needs repair. I just have a natural aversion to anything that spins at around 100k RPM. Even European turbos with lots of miles tend to have issues. No thanks.

General rule of thumb is you should avoid buying any make/model in it's first/second year of being released. Let them work out all the bugs on the next gen model. I would go for 2011 and above DJ if I were you.

    I'll tell what's unreliable. . . Consumer Reports.
Don't know about carcomplaints.com. I find consumer reviews either completely inflated or completely negative and therefore pretty unreliable unless the are all pretty alike. My 2011 has been good.
    Peace.

7-passenger cannot have the cargo cover. It doesn't have the necessary slots in the cargo hard trim to hold the cover assembly and lock the cover into place. You would need to replace the cargo hard trim at a bare minimum, which may eliminate features unique to third row vehicles for the third row seats.

Even though the car may have come with Trailer Tow Prep from the factory, the power to the wiring is not enabled from the factory. In most cases, customers return to the dealership to have the hitch installed, at which point the wiring is connected and then enabled. Adding the correct sales code and reconfiguring the vehicle to see the new code is included in the labor for the hitch installation. If a customer installs the hitch and wiring themselves, their selling dealer should add the code and reconfigure the vehicle at no charge (the process takes ten minutes to complete). If she were to return to another dealership for the reconfig, only then I would expect a small charge to be levied.

i had the Katzkin heated seats installed in my crossroad and my installer said that he couldnt do the pass seat bottom due to the type senser that dodge use , he said if the heated seats had come from the factory they put in a different type senser and if not ordered they use a different senser. the seat back was not affected and has the heater in it. that is what they told me.

2late4u got a reaction from Natasha Klein in another dead battery?
well you need to find a different dealer even if it means a longer trip that said it not that the winters cold is killing your battery ,its you have a electrical draw even when the car is off and during the warm weather the car is still going because the battery is staying charged just enough to start your car and then when the cold weather comes in the battery is to weak to start. so using a trickle charger will not solve your problem, first take your car to a auto parts store and get the best battery you can, like one with a 7 yr warrenty so if it does go bad at least you can get a replacement for free the first 3yrs. then have them check your charging sytem and the starter draw to see if their is any problem there then if nothing is found i would proceed to a different dodge dealer as you should still be under warrenty ( you made no info on mileage on vech). i really like advance auto by using retailmenot.com coupon codes check it out it will save you at least $40.00 off any purchase over $110. and they are the only ones i use on my batteries. good luck and keep us informed.... also at -38c any battery is going to have problems.

2late4u got a reaction from jkeaton in Parking Brake Light Comes On Randomly
of course while on vacation my daughter called and said her van started showing a brake light but she said it was stopping but not quite as good as it always did. i was about 700miles away so said have some one check the fuild and i would be home in a few days. i went by a dodge dealer and talked to them about the brake light with the manager and asked him if the rear brakes were wore down would that activate the brake light and he said no. so when i got home and checked the rears as i knew they hadent been changed ever and they were slap ass out so i put new shoes on and the brake light went off .....not saying your rear brakes are bad but get them checked it could be anything going wrong.

Not sure if anyone else has tested the evic mpg Avg but it's always off on mine, shows higher than what you actually get! This was tested by top off and reset the trip, plus backed up by GPS trip. It's close but not 100% accurate.

my dealer couldnt do it but said they used local shop called kat skins (i think its spelled different ) cost me little less than $500. and it doesnt work thur the radio it has buttons on the side of the seats also on the passenger side they cant put the heat pad on the botton seat just the back because of a speacial senser in the seat bottom.

Well that was an example. Just showing what an entire kit would cost. Looks like there is no "complete Bermbo kot" for the DJ. You can get quality brakes that will stop just as good, last just as long as those for much, much cheaper. EBC stuff is good for a fraction of the cost.

I rotate my own tires as well. Having multiple floor jacks help. I do left rear to left front, left front to right rear, right rear to right front and right front to left rear. Except on my cars with directional tires. Those are just front to back, back to front. I do it every 5000 miles.

2late4u got a reaction from rolly in 45 day trip to vegas
well left out from al going to vegas and took 3 nites going out about 1800 miles, no problems and was getting about 23mpg figuring mileage by gallons into miles of course evic was reporting a little better .this figure included city driving once we were out there so i was happy with it, was loaded with a 3 wheel medical scooter so there was some extra wight. once there had a problem with the unlocking and locking the car by touching the handles or trunk button but thought well wait till i get back, then the next moring the air would only come out thur the floor vents, started it and shut it off and all the movments thur the air control buttons but nothing changed so called a local dealer and made a apt. for cople of days down the road to take it in. well the day i was to take it in the air started working okay thur all the vents so called and cancelled the apt. and since then no more problems with the air but the locks still acting up every once in a while also if i get out of the car with the keys and then start going towards the rear of the car and the wife gets out and locks the car it will sometime beep as if the keys are still in the car. will let the deaker look at it next time when it goes in for the oil change. got sick for 2 days with some bad sea food man that was rough. well had a great time and didnt lose all our money that we took so drove home and was getting a little better mpg about 24.3 and evic was always saying a little better. of course the elavation helped get alot better mpg. but ended up real pleased with how the car drove on the trip.....

so they are giving up the lower end of the market minn-van and only going to produce the more lux and expensive town and country. oh well so some other car manufacture will pick up new cust. remember most of the people buying minn-vans are are couples with kids that might or cant buy 35-40k vech. 20-25k is more in their wheel house i think this will end up being a mistake for fiat.....
