These work well, you will be impressed. I have one on my Ram truck. Moes Performance has them listed at $299. But if you use the code PC10 at checkout it will knock off another $30. $269 shipped!!

All the electronics have a delay off feature.  The sounds you are hearing are the HVAC blend doors resetting themselves. All systems normal.

I would suspect the battery also. Maybe the ground on the battery worked its way loose. If not then check the battery's voltage.

ESS or start stop FCA vehicles are equipped with a AGM battery and heavy duty starters .
at least that's what my Jeep Cherokee has on the build sheet.

It surprises me also that an SXT wouldn't have factory bluetooth. The steering wheel call buttons, not being present, pretty much explains it all though.

However, I wouldnt be too concerned because the aftermarket support for streaming bluetooth is abundant. Go to Crutchfield, Best Buy, or Ebay and look for bluetooth adapter kits.

Definitely go with the bigger battery. No harm no foul!! If you dont have a vehicle equipped with start/stop then a dealer trip should not be in order as far as I know.

I bought a new 2017 Durango last week and its equipped with s/s. Its really hard to get use to hearing the car cut completely off, but it does have a button to turn it off if you choose. However, I have been curious with it and trying it out more and more. The little green light comes on the dash and it just goes dead. As soon as you lift off the brake the starter engages and its back on its way. Very weird at first!!

It wouldnt surprise me that a dealer trip is in order for a battery swap on vehicles equipped with s/s. Certain requirements have to be met in order for s/s to even activate;  it wont activate during max ac, engine below normal operating temps, high amp draw, etc. However from my experience so far, s/s can engage and will continue to run ac, heat, and lights/electronics under "normal" operating conditions. So apparently the battery is not your average battery and is integrated into the car in more ways than you can imagine. And according to Allpar... to compensate all those features; they have stronger batteries, beefier starters, and even thicker meatier flywheels.

When those tree lights on the dash all come on at the same time, usually it is a bad wheel sensor. It could be a loose connection, or the connector is corroded. Happy to see that the fuel injectors are working again.

Emmissions is another reason for the higher engine temps. All manufactures try to reduce emmissions by running higher temps from what we are use to. A hot engine is a cleaner, less pollutant engine. Its been a common question on Ramforumz. Folks with 3.6 Ram have been complaining of temps over 230 degrees. Its normal and not anything to worry about.

My experience with Evap codes is check the gas cap first. I've thrown these codes and checked everything but the gas cap. Only to find out it was indeed a loose/faulty gas cap. Not sure if all vehicles will do this but in my experience it has been the case numerous times.
Even if you don't plan on working on your car yourself I would recommend a scanner. Especially being so affordable nowadays.

    Welcome to the forum.
Pearl White is pretty nice, mine still looks new after a good wash (which occurs less often as time goes on) . I have noticed a few spots on my rear bumper that just wont come off but other than that I have been pleased with the white. I cant say I have noticed a difference in color but now that you have mentioned it I will give a look after its next wash.
    Good luck with your Journey.

It seems to me that Dealer negligence is the biggest part of the complaint. You can dig up stories like this on any car via the internet, not just Dodge Journey's. I love mine and will definitely buy another someday.

You bought a used a car, not a new one!!
I understand if you are looking for help on this forum, its what most of us are here for. But don't come on here telling everyone their Journeys are garbage and expect anyone to respect your opinion.

Save your money, your Journey comes with CAI, which induces air from the front. If you want better flow then drop in a new K&N filter. These engines build up lots of heat. There is no way to induce cold air from an engine bay that's well over 200 degrees with an exposed filter? IMO

Opinionated much? Not being from here I guess you dont undestand the older generations love affair with big old land yacht's. There was a time when gas was 25 cents a gallon and ther only cars offered were even bigger than the Crown Vic. You dont understand because you come from the land of compact diesels. If Europe is so great, why'd you leave?

For a moment reading your thread on BITOG I thought it was going to get real ugly with the comments. I've browsed their forum a few times and some times they can get pretty nasty with the debates....they take their oil changes way to serious.
Anyhow, I don't think the engine flush was needed as the Pennzoil (good oil) has the extra additives to remove sludge build up. Also why the 10w30 oil....shouldn't you be using 5w30?
BTW, I picked up some of the new PP made with natural gas. Supposed to be like Pennzoil's Ultra synthetic oil which is a very good. They possibly might have Mobil1 playing catch up now.

This is an update for the Bridgestone Ecopia tires that I purchased in March. I have noticed slight increase in mileage and a very noticeable improvement in the ride quality. It's also definitely quieter. While driving in pouring rain the other day the Journey really handled exceptionally well. It's only been five weeks, but so far I'm impressed. I'll continue to keep you updated.

Sure sounds to me like a tire issue - a broken cord or shifted belt inside the tire itself - either of which will cause a pull and a shimmy at the same time. When the car is up on the lift and the wheels are spun off of the ground, you'll be able to see the tire's out-of-round condition as it rotates. Based on what you're describing, I'd almost guarantee that replacement tires will solve both problems.

Ha! WTF?!!! I would have punched that dude square in the throat! That's insane... Even if they void your warranty due to an aftermarket part in the states, they have to prove that your aftermarket part caused the issue and they can only void the warranty on the specific part that failed due to the accessory. Like I always say... There's nothing common about common sense.
