  1. I wouldn’t recommend using a DIY tint spray or tint film as both have severe flaws if done improperly. Call up local tint shops and have them do it. I did this type of service years ago on my G35 only charged $140.00.
  2. Sounds like you didn’t catch the bad lifters on time before they ate away the camshafts. My wife’s 2015 Dodge Journey now has 122k miles just replaced all of the lifters as a preventative maintenance. Good luck for me this type of work is easy but if you pay someone to do it, it’ll cost you a pretty penny.
  3. Easy solution purchase an ozone machine place it in the car for 1hr and let it air out and repeat if needed. These ozone machines will kill all living organisms so keep away from people, pets and plants.
  4. They sell 2” spacers for the struts as a lift on eBay and Amazon. As far as ride quality goes who knows how it will actually ride.
  5. Yes I have a 16 Ram 1500 and 15 Dodge Journey for the wife. The Alfaobd has many great features. I have removed seatbelt chime, changed the acceleration factor, switched from the halogen headlight settings to LED. Also have recalibrated the speedo due to larger tire. There’s another setting too for windows down with key fob which worked great too. It’s a great app inexpensive and well worth the money. I have activated a rear backup camera no need for a dealer etc. I’m surprised that more people don’t know about it. If you are having trouble connecting it then I agree I believe a bypass cable is needed for newer models 17 and up?
  6. A simple fix to this is just get the alfaobd app and set the new wheels and tires to recalibrate the speedo. There’s no need to get all worked up on the issue it’s a simple fix guys.
  7. I agree it’s not needed on a pentastar Dodge Journey v6 but I bought one for my Ram 1500 hemi. At first I purchased a pedal commander for $300 it stopped working after a month returned it. I bought an off brand eBay model which does the same thing minus the Bluetooth feature and it was $80 dollars!!!!
  8. Definitely worth buying but I agree the Dodge Journey pentastar doesn’t feel like it has throttle lag. I bought it for my Ram 1500 and now it feels very responsive and no more throttle lag plus you can adjust to accommodate your preference. Once the commander is installed it will always be on the last setting you left off even after the vehicle has been off.
  9. In summary all cars and other motor vehicles must be equipped with a muffler, and any exhaust modifications must not be designed to increase the exhaust noise above 95 dbA. You’re now going into a whole different subject yes noise will be an issue, but emissions will pass as long as your cats are in this is in California. The point Armando so everybody knows is in CA you can modify your exhaust as long as cats are in, but aftermarket mufflers are the best option to keep the noise level down so you won’t get a citation for the noise.
