I just scored  a set of 4, 225/65R17 Bridgestone Blizzaks for $300.00 it pays when a Subaru dealer orders the wrong size and forgets they are in the storage room.

If all of your stock speakers are working then we should be able to rule out the amp and the head unit. Now I would have to wonder about the wiring to and from the remote amp.

Can you post a detailed picture of the amp showing all of the wiring and connections? You state that you have power to the amp so I am assuming that you are measuring the voltage that powers the amp. I am not understanding the reference to no power from amp to subs. Not being familiar with the equipment in question I am just thinking of general wiring configurations. What are you actually measuring between the amp and the subs? DC voltage would be very low between an amp and speakers in an audio configuration. Measuring ohms, you can check continuity from point to point for wiring or connection problems. Also check any fuses with a meter as sometimes a fuse can blow but still appear okay.

    Pictures may be helpful.

If your hose is the original, and from 2011, it may be time to change it. Pull the hose from the thermostat, inspect the hose for a small perforation from the clamp. Use a flashlight, and a magnifying tool if you have one, and inspect the thermostat housing for a small hairline crack. It may have been over tightened. Once done, reinstall the hose and put on a new, quality clamp. Make sure to everything is seated correctly. If the leak persists, then you can contemplate a new hose and/or housing.

Look under any car past a few years old and you are likely to see at least one point of a very minor leak. It is a fact of life and not related to any particular brand. As I usually buy a newer vehicle around 3 years old, this is one of the things that I look for. Even then, it is somewhat difficult to find a perfectly clean vehicle underneath.

As long as it is very minor, with no indication of even a drip on the floor, leave it IMO. If everything is operating correctly, just check the level, add any if necessary, and keep on driving. There is a very good chance that it is down barely at all. Consider it part of routine maintenance of an older vehicle to monitor any known leaks and address them when needed. You may never need too before the time comes to replace it. Just keep an eye on it periodically, depending on the amount of leakage.

Just a heads up for those attempting this. The o-ring where the filter plugs in is a real bugger to get out. Luckily it was brass so I was able top use a small flat screwdriver to lift the lip until it let go,(about 75% of the circumference of the o-ring). Also it is a fun job to get the new one back in, but patience is the key. lol

a;so after removing the nut the stud is splined so if the whole arm is hanging down and the arm is still tight then it might be more of a problem like the motor has went bad,or the linkage has slipped, good luck and let us know what you find out

NO!  16 inch rims were used on old Journeys that has smaller brakes pre 2013. On your 2015 they won't go over the brakes.   The 17's will fit.  That's what I use for winter tires, rather than my 19's, as 17 inch winter tires are a lot cheaper.  17 inch Caravan rims are exactly the same as the Journeys.

It says the clip is included. So when you do the brakes, if yours has a clip, one will be provided. If yours does not have a clip, you won’t need the included one. Discard it.

so have you checked the level of the trans fluid ?sounds like a good plan on what you are getting ready to do, make sure you use approved transmission fluid and i would use a mopar filter as well, let us know how it went  a few pic would be helpful for thoes who might want to do it themselves

Well a couple of things come to mind.

with the tires being worn on the outer side, alignment is the first thing that pops into my head.  Since it’s still under warranty, take it to the dealer for a 4 wheel alignment.  Should they find anything wrong with the ball joints, etc. they can fix that under warranty   You might have to pay for the alignment, you might not.  Depends on what they find.  A 4 wheel alignment was less than $150 last fall at my dealer.

    let us know

Got a heck of a scare this week.  We were driving (just starting off) about 50 km/h (30 mph) when the dog suddenly jumped from the back seat into the front seat pushing the gearshift into P.  We got this horrible clicking sound and I immediately pulled it back into D.  I pulled over, and then started again and everything seemed okay.  Our driveway is on a hill, so when we got home, I put it in P and it stayed, so I guess we didn't do any damage to the parking pawl.  Thank God!  Apparently the transmission has to be dropped to replace the pawl.  A couple of grand if it breaks I have been told.  I guess we were going too fast for it to engage.   So, all is well.  I didn't need another big bill, so I was very happy.

I just wanted to post this to let other people know to be careful because the gearshift can be moved when driving.  I guess the system will override it if it goes into reverse.  It might cause a problem if you are going slow enough to engage the parking pawl when driving.  Your trip could come to an abrupt stop!

    Be careful out there!

PS.  Yes, the dog is still alive.  No volunteer Pawl Bearers (pallbearers) required.  Pun intended!  LOL

no idea other than replace the fob battery and if that doesn't help disconnected the battery cable from the car and wait 10 minutes and then reconnect and hopefully that will reset it

Hey buddy just wanted to let you know I fixed the Journey today. Turns out the problem was the passenger side rear caliper. I took the wheel off and noticed a gap between the piston and inner brake pad suggesting that the piston was stuck and not applying the brakes on that corner.  I installed a new caliper, bled the brakes and now have a good firm pedal, stops like brand new.

Definitely a learning experience for me. Would never have guessed a stuck caliper could cause a soft pedal. A good way to find if you have the same problem would be to unbolt one caliper at a time and have a helper push the brake pedal and see if the piston moves. I’ve used this method in the past to find bad calipers but didn’t bother on this car because I assumed it couldn’t be the problem. Live and learn. Good luck with your car!

    Status Update:

Got home after work and decided to look at the problem myself. Both console 12V outlets work through the battery and runs off a 20amp fuse. I took the fuse out (not blown) and cleaned the connections off. Plugged the fuse back in, and viola, both outlets work! Took me less than a minute to fix compared to a week at CarMax (who could not figure it out)! GO FIGURE!

That's a big negative for Carmax. Great job getting it taken care of. Stick with the Dodge dealer while under warranty. I would actually have the a dodge dealer check fuse box for corrosion while you're doing the recall item.

Check your manual.  Should show what fuses are what.  Probably under the passenger side dash.  It is not hard to find and replace.

If they replaced the wires, did they not test it to see if it worked?  These guys really suck.  Unbelievable!  A monkey with a voltmeter could figure this problem out.

Didn’t realize you bought it at Carmax. When I saw 2018 I figured it was new and you took it to a Dodge dealer.  If you are under 36k miles it’s still under Dodge warranty.  Even so, any half-way decent mechanic should be able to figure this out.  That dealer sucks..
