ltdjourney reacted to dhh3 in Magnaflow exhaust install - before and after sounds
What "Plug in" do I need to listen? I looked at all your pictures along the top of the Forum Home Page. What you actually did was to replace the resonators with mufflers. The muffler is up front somewhere. I'm still curious as to how it sounds.

It had a wire inside with a small bolt ,but sometimes the bolt may not fit so go auto shop antenna to size bolt . The reception was great,It fit on over the base with two way tape . It didn't come of going through car wash.

With all the brake talk on this forum its hard to believe we missed that one.

ltdjourney reacted to 2late4u in 2012 Journey front pad replacment
well if you look at the front calipers there is no way you could turn them back like you do the rears. same as always use a c clamp and makes sure you don't damage the cups or seals i always use the old pad to bottom out the cup while being pushed back in..

I personally would avoid the vehicle and move on to something else. Aren't the fenders aluminum anyways (shouldn't be rusting). Mismatched tires, sitting on a lot for half a year has to show something bad about the vehicle.
Nothing aginst buying rental vehicles, I owned a prior rental Malibu a few years ago and it was a great, problem free vehicle. But something seems fishy as to why this vehicle has been sitting so long. What price are they asking?

ltdjourney reacted to redtomatoman in Someone stole my Sirius signal
Sirius radio went to preview today. Called Sirius. They attempted to resend the signal. No response. Long story short, when the service rep checked the radio ID, no match. Added a security question to my account today. Hope that doesn't continue to happen. $#!7, what next? People suck. They will steal anything.
Peace.

those instructions are a bit misleading... you don't need to remove the bumper.

The end caps have 3 tangs/clips on them , 1 at the contoured end and 1 each side
of the end that covers the side rail.
Squeeze the rail side inward and lift toward the contoured end.

ltdjourney reacted to Dee in Just joined 2015 Dodge Journey Family. Couple questions.
Horror stories; that's the nature of the beast. Normally for every 20 complaints you'll get one person saying all happy things. That's the way it is even in retail I'm not sure how the guys deal with issues, as all cars have them, it's not the issue per say, it's how they deal with it. Do they ignore it? Fix it? Respond at all? So far the last car I really considered, they're ignoring people with transmission troubles, and I mean a lot of vehicles. With Dodge I had seen where issues aren't being ignored, anything from simple navigation concerns to bigger issues. So with me, service, responsiveness trumps anything that may happen with the vehicle.
BTW, did you get the tow package? If you did, and you're going to park on the street like that, get a tow ball and keep people off your back bumper. I know I know, I have a bit of a mean streak too....

ltdjourney reacted to DodgeCACares in BRAKES
ltdjourney,
Sorry to hear about your experience.
Keep a very close eye on this and the conditions and circumstances if it happens again.
That way there your dealer will have a better opportunity to duplicate the issue and resolve accordingly.
Keep us posted .

If no obvious leaks, could be leaking within the master cylinder.

ltdjourney reacted to DodgeCACares in musty smell
ltdjourney,
They'll certainly have to reproduce the condition before they replace any parts, best to give them a full account of when it happens.
Your dealer likely wouldn't be aware of our Corporate online involvement however they can certainly phone to our technical support team if they need further guidance.
