Welcome to the group...... when asking about a problem we need all the info on what you drive and all the problems with what things you have done to it to be able to even guess what might be wrong.....there is no 3.7 there is a 3.6 so who is changing the spark plugs every 6 months? they are good for 100k and it takes a considerable amount of time to even get to them. also are you using the OEM plugs ? . just saying.. oil changes should be around  every 7 k with just regular driving ,heavy use driving should be done even sooner,, what about the trans service has any been done? and dont forget the awd maintenance and coolant services. YOUR best option is to have it serviced when the light is on at a dodge dealership to see the code, they would have the best info on what they think is wrong and might end up cheaper than unloading the  parts cannon on your journey. please report back on what you find out is your problem for others to learn from it

A 2009 model would be the 3.5 motor if this is the V^.
Also being that old, I would bet on needing a new radiator, even though you say you flushed it.

2009 had a 3.5 engine, so what temp is it going to ? are the fans coming on? are you using coolant mixed right? sounds like you need to return too who ever changed your engine out before you overheat it

you will need a magnetic spark plug socket OR use any deep well socket and then a telescopic magnet to lift the plug out of the hole and then use a piece of plastic tuning to attach to the tip of the plug to lower it into the opining, or I did see a video on sticking the plug into the coil and then use that to lower it into the opening or just splurge on buying the proper magnetic socket, easy to do good luck

Very little snow in Niagara area on this side of border. Two or three dumps so far, largest about 4 inches that melted in 4 days.
I’ve been keeping the salt/dirt off the Journey, several hand hose washes on warmer days during the winter.

Starting to get some minor rust spots on driver front fender and above windshield. Stone chips I think. Body over all holding up pretty good for milage and year.

Lots of laughs! Such weather for good thorough cleaning!
Had 2 days last week to be worth a quick but cool wash of the '14 and '13, NO interior cleaning or such as it was only in the mid 40's ! At least they look "presentable" from a distance.
WINTER seems to finally making itself known here around me, but still not a lot of snow, just enough to say yes it snowed.

With a FFun sales person the day lights are on. The transmission lever eas in drive.

In auto start the park lights only come on

Behind the wheel It was impossible  in bright winter conditions for me to even tell outside a dark garage that they worked.

    Thanks for advice everybody.

this is where you need to go to see if your journey drl are set to come on,since you are in Canada I assume it is the law there for all cars to have drl at all times, YOU may have a problem as to why they are not coming on, WHEN the journey is in a  forward gear they
light up if your in PARK......also you don't give the year your journey was made as well

    2/7/24 UPDATE

All 3 Journeys are doing fine, but they all need a good wash from the mud and dust due to no snow to speak of and lack of good steady rain. Typical for farm country.
The wife bought a new $50.00 Trac Phone thru Walmart last weekend, as her OLD trac phone could not even connect to her job's wireless system. She got it all transfered and even paired it to her '13RT and LO AND BEHOLD it connects up almost instantaneously now when she gets in the car with her new phone. All the car's functions with bluetooth and phone work perfectly. I had been thinking a module problem since getting the car last summer!

2late4u reacted to 5rebel9 in Won't start after changing break switch
That switch is very finicky as it does more than just brakes lights, it also works the shifter lock{what you are probably hearing} and also ties in with the push to start button.
Recheck connections on the switch and may have to adjust {somehow} the plunger throw for all to work. I've not had to deal with that switch on any of the 3 DJ's I've got, so good luck to you and keep us here informed to how things go.

This actually worked!! Thanks @Dusty256. Had brake troubles for about 6 months! Replaced everything. Same issue, front brakes were dragging bad, especially driver’s side. Over heating. Found this post and was skeptical. @Dusty256 proved me wrong. Took a couple days to fully free up but it immediately improved after doing the reset.
by the way, the Negative extension on the shock tower under the hood disconnects power. (Don’t have to get to the battery to disconnect). Hope this helps.
@Dusty256, I have a cold ? ready for you when ever you would like to collect!!?

No robo-Johan,  read Navallacross post above.

FCA at the time did not want to pay for testing to meet new DOT towing capacity compliance. Real world testing needed post 2010 to keep the higher weight rating.

There already was awd available on the higher rated 2009-10 models. Awd not new for 3.6 engine.
