  1. 2late4u, I know it can be difficult to respond and engage a big number of threads. For me, I'm involved with a long list of other forums which cover other vehicle platforms as well. We'll continue to be involved as much as possible. I hope everyone has a safe holiday season !!!
  2. lytefall, This issue does sound a bit strange! Have you heard back from your dealer yet? I hope they are able to get this figured out quickly for you. Keep us posted.
  3. rolly, Good point here, the dealer has the ability to verify the build status and track delivery so it's best to keep the lines of communication open with the salesperson involved.
  4. MWG, I would agree in saying the engine may have shut off. Any loss of power conditions should be taken seriously, please do have your vehicle inspected at your local Dodge dealer. Keep us posted if you can.
  5. ltdjourney, They'll certainly have to reproduce the condition before they replace any parts, best to give them a full account of when it happens. Your dealer likely wouldn't be aware of our Corporate online involvement however they can certainly phone to our technical support team if they need further guidance.
  6. Tito Mon, I would not hesitate to bring your vehicle to a Dodge dealer considering you've eliminated some of the basic possibilities (wheels, balancing etc.). I'm certain a quick test drive and inspection would reveal the cause of the vibration. All the best!
  7. Toolman626, Welcome to the forum! Did you return to your dealer to advise the install wasn't successful back when the work was done?
  8. ltdjourney, The issue with the cooling coil was specific the the Journey. You may have noticed a similar condition in other vehicles however I can imagine it's pronounce in your Journey. All the best, keep us posted if you can.
  9. DodgeRook, Welcome to the forum! Post up some pics of your new Blacktop if you get a chance.
  10. Jeremiah Joines, Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having troubles with your Journey. Based on the symptoms, I strongly recommend bringing your vehicle to your local Dodge dealer. This could in fact be ignition related, in which case it would be best to address sooner rather than later. Keep us posted if you can.
  11. YellowDuck, Please check your inbox, I've sent you a message with some information regarding all the literature you're looking for.
  12. ltdjourney, The cabin filter is a good place to start, the source may also be microbial growth on the cooling coil within the A/C system which causes a musty smell as you've described. I'd recommend discussing this possibility with your dealer for further handling/cleaning if applicable.
  13. cruisinbill, Lobitz68 brings up a good point, your vehicle does have a break-in period for the engine and internal components. Although your fuel economy will be less than average during the colder winter months, you'll be seeing improvements once the engine is broken in.
  14. Jody Aistrop Slater, Welcome to the forum! I tend to agree with Sparkyssxt, a loose connection somewhere tends to cause something to cut out, especially when going over a significant bump in the road. See if you can find a set of tracks or anything bumpy nearby to your dealer and request they take a test drive with you in attempts to duplicate. Keep us posted if you can.
  15. dodgejourney2012, Welcome to the forum! Were the above mentioned issues resolved under warranty? bigtsr brings up a good point, it's difficult to determine if the original owner took care of the vehicle. Keep us posted, I hope all goes well moving forward.
  16. Jeff St Louis, Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear you're having issues with your Journey. OhareFred brings up a good point, there is a module that is responsible for this system and it may be problematic. Certainly worth getting your dealer involved to diagnose and replace accordingly (if needed). All the best !
  17. hockey_puck, The heated wheel and seats really make a difference! I think back to my first vehicle and was thankful it had any heat at all.
  18. Natasha Klein, Sorry to hear you're having these ongoing issues. How many times has your battery died? Which dealer have you been working with?
  19. xhamanx, Welcome to the forum and congrats on your DJ purchase ! With the addition of your newest issue, I would urge you to bring this to the attention of your Dealer. It would be best to address this issue sooner rather than later based on your description of loss of power.
  20. Timothy Bratzel, Happy to hear of your overall positive experience with your DJ! Sounds like quite the setup you have on your DJ, wishing you many more years of happy driving.
  21. stefan, Welcome to the forum! There are a number for Powertrain Control Module flash updates to address similar complaints. I cannot confirm these are related however it is worth bringing your DJ to your local Dodge Service facility to verify if the software is at the most up to date level. Keep us posted if you can.
  22. Mysty2, It's beyond difficult to be patient while waiting for all the new and exciting SRT products that are in the works.
  23. itsmee2021, Welcome to the forum! In some isolated cases, a flash update to the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) is needed to correct the theft alarm sounding intermittently. This may be unrelated however worth mentioning to your dealer when you book your appointment. Keep the thread updated if you can, thanks!
  24. probak118, Thanks for the feedback. We have great dealers in the area so it's not a matter of moving the vehicle elsewhere, however reproducing the issue is key here. Try to think of situations or conditions where the issue can be reproduced on command and then bring it in. Intermittent conditions are beyond frustrating to say the least... Stay in contact with the dealers and do your best to show them the issue. Also, this condition would be covered under your 5 years/100,000 kms warranty rather then the 3/60 which you mentioned would be coming up soon.
  25. jojogg, In this case, I would also recommend getting this to the attention of the dealership in hopes of reproducing the issue. The Service Dept. will resolve accordingly once more is known about the condition. Keep us posted if you can.
