  1. xcaliber81, Did you notice the fluctuation in RPM all of a sudden or has this been present since new? Please keep us posted after your dealer visit.
  2. Blackout, Thanks for the update. Keep the Service Manager involved if you run into troubles as he/she will have the authority to make things happen. Let me know if you need me to reach out to the dealer for further handling.
  3. Mario Brunet, Welcome to the forum! I'm assuming you've cycled the ignition on and off already. Have you disconnected the battery as dhh3 suggested? Keep us posted.
  4. Eric Evans, Happy to hear the noise issue was sorted out. Did your dealer mention the cause of the component going out of torque spec.?
  5. nash11, Great news! A bad ground is always something to keep in mind to check.
  6. Blackout, Sorry to hear some issues have continued. Have you had the opportunity to share this with your dealer yet? Perhaps there is an easy fix available. Keep us posted if you can.
  7. Ann-Denise Anderson, Welcome to the forum. Check the fuses as bigtsr mentioned, could be a bulb issue but unlikely that they are all burnt out. It would certainly be worth heading over to your local Dodge Service Facility to have the vehicle looked at.
  8. demanded101, Congrats on your new Journey and welcome to the forum ! ! ! I've reviewed our Mopar website and haven't been able to locate any accessories that match what you're looking for. Have you spoken to the parts dept. at your dealer yet?
  9. rampar, Was it a case where the vehicle wouldn't start based on the check engine light? If so, this happens to avoid any engine damage.
  10. lytefall, I can understand the frustration, head to your dealer and hopefully this bulletin will address the noise. Keep us posted if you can.
  11. bramfrank, You bring up a good point, software updates are ordinarily released to address needed improvements. Does anyone on this forum remember the days when your vehicle was built, sold and driven? These days, technological advancement is now in such high demand.
  12. Marius, Please check your PM as I've responded with some details.
  13. Marius, Glad to hear the issue was identified, any news from your dealer? Hopefully things will be looking up once you get your vehicle back.
  14. Journey_SeXT, Check with your local dealer, are you hearing the noise as well?
  15. Chris Chis, Welcome to the forum! Sorry to learn of all the issues you're having. I realize your vehicle is out of warranty however there are still so many benefits in bringing your vehicle to a Dodge dealer. The Service Dept. is best equipped to handle these issues as they have access to all the needed resources at the technical level. The dealer's ability to identify the issues quickly will be far more cost effective for you.
  16. Ducky, Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new to you Journey! There are no recalls regarding power steering hoses or tire pressure monitor sensors for your Journey. With regards to the pressure sensors in the tires, they are subject to corrosion over the years from road salt and other road debris and should be replaced as needed. I recommend inspecting each remaining sensor to determine their current integrity and replace accordingly. For the power steering hose, Mopar cold weather hose kits are available by region (temperature based). Check with your parts department and they'll be certain to get the right components for you. All the best !
  17. YellowDuck, Glad to hear things have been sorted out for you! All the best!
  18. ltdjourney, Do you find this noise is more pronounced under certain conditions, such as colder weather? I'd recommend getting your Journey to your dealer when you have a chance and duplicate the issue for them. This may simply be a characteristic of the vehicle, worth a look though.
  19. ltdjourney, Sorry to hear about your experience. Keep a very close eye on this and the conditions and circumstances if it happens again. That way there your dealer will have a better opportunity to duplicate the issue and resolve accordingly. Keep us posted .
  20. Diane, Any news since your second visit to your dealer? I recommend asking the Service Manager for a copy of the work order which would have the description of the repairs. Keep us posted if you can.
  21. Canadian Paul, That sounds like a very scary ordeal, my goodness! Glad you stayed safe in your Journey. Keep us posted when you get your new Dodge.
  22. MGW, I would recommend documenting the event with your dealer at the very least. Also, give the service dept. a call to check your VIN for any outstanding recalls, may not be anything incomplete but worthwhile making sure. All the best!
