  1. grice, Thank you for sending the PM, I've reviewed all the case files and have responded.
  2. grice, When possible, can you please send me a private message with your VIN # and CAIR#. I'd like to look into this further. Please re-post on this thread to my attention when this is done. Thank you, sorry again to hear this is still ongoing.
  3. Blackout, You're very welcome ! We certainly do care and make every effort to assist Customers. All the best
  4. Blackout, As Journeyman425 mentioned, most high pressure washers can cause this to happen. Your vehicle is designed to keep out rain, keep an eye on it and notify your dealer if you experience any additional leaks under normal conditions.
  5. probak118, I would bring this to the attention of your Dodge Service facility. The vehicle has certain common characteristics however it isn't recommended to generalize this condition with what others may be experiencing. What you've observed could be something different, keep us posted if you get a chance to have the trans. issue inspected.
  6. grice, Welcome to the forum! It's very strange to learn that this vehicle rolled backwards while in park. The vehicle has a type of parking pawl which is supposed to stop the transmission from allowing the vehicle to roll back while park, this component can wear out. Is it possible the vehicle was left in reverse considering the vehicle was left running? In any event, your dealer will be able to determine if this happened due to any mechanical failures.
  7. probak118, Good point, although the Journey has good storage capacity etc., a Grand Caravan might be the right call. @Thesuffering - Have you taken a look at the Dodge Grand Caravan? Great performance/comfort and amazing cargo capacity, especially on those long trips!
  8. Slohnd, Glad to have you aboard! This forum has a large group of friendly, helpful members at the ready for any questions or comments. Congrats on your new DJ by the way, I can foresee many fun filled road trips ahead.
  9. ckl, Getting 5 years on the original battery isn't bad at all! I'm in a similar position, battery isn't original but it's done it's job. Good to have this replaced now as well as to avoid having to worry about this sort of thing during the winter months.
  10. Blackout, Glad to hear the noise was located, shouldn't be any trouble for your dealer to hear it and determine the cause. Not to worry though, they will be sure to fix your vehicle and get things back on track.
  11. Eric Menezes, Welcome to the forum! The owner's manual and user guides are invaluable for finding answers to all sorts of questions. I even surprise myself from time to time when reading over different materials and stumble across something new.
  12. Blackout, I'll certainly keep an eye out for any valuable info. to be shared. Have your dealer get the complaint onto a work order and do what you can to bring it to them when the noise is present. All the best!
  13. Marius, Thank you for the information. Your case has been escalated to the Senior Resolution Team for handling. A comprehensive investigation will take place to determine the implications of all the issues brought forth.
  14. Marius, Please check your private messages, please let me know once you've sent over the requested information.
  15. jacfen, Thanks for the update. It's always a good policy to act quickly and get to your dealer before anything worsens. Hopefully you'll be back behind the wheel soon.
  16. Cheryl Browne, Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear you're having these issues though. I've seen cases where it's mostly phone software that changes which causes compatibility issues however it seems you've ruled that out. I'd recommend getting your Journey to your local Dodge service facility for an inspection. There may be something at play here.
  17. Greg D, Welcome to the forum. Are you hearing this same noise in any other conditions? In these cases, it's crucial to be able to duplicate the noise and possibly compare to another similar model to determine the nature of condition. I recommend you continue working with your dealer.
  18. Blackout, Strange... Try keeping in mind all of the conditions when the noise is present. Get it logged and do what you can to bring this to your dealer when you believe it's going to sure fire be present.
  19. jacfen, Welcome to the forum. This shudder or hesitation could be caused by any number of components. Considering this is something happening often, I'd recommend scheduling a visit to your local Dodge dealer for an inspection. You'll be able to take a quick test drive with Service staff and determine what the cause is. Keep us posted if you can.
  20. Sean Hutmacher, Welcome to the forum! Lobitz68 brings up a good point about fluid based on region and climates. Be sure to speak with your dealer before replacing any fluids. Not sure of your region however temperatures in winter months can affect these systems in extreme cases, mainly extreme low temperatures.
  21. Greg Billings, Welcome the forum and congrats on your new DJ! This forum is a great resource for all Dodge Journey, very helpful/friendly members as well. All the best !
  22. Blackout, It's going to get fairly cold this Friday evening, do a comparison during the day and then in the evening. Did you notice this in the previous winter at all?
  23. Blackout, I can hear the slightest of click noises after you mentioned the 3 second mark. Do you find the noise happens each time the wheel is turned a certain way or at a certain position? If so, I'd tend to think it may be something in the steering column causing that noise. Keep an eye on things are the very least and I'm confident your dealer will nail down the cause and correct accordingly.
  24. Blackout, It's very difficult to hear any one specific noise from this video. Having this documented with your dealer is beneficial, especially if it becomes intermittent. Has your dealer discussed comparing to another Journey to see if this noise may be a characteristic of the vehicle?
  25. Blackout, That description sounds more suspension related. Keep us posted after your visit to your dealer.
