  1. I will not pretend to know if that's possible however if you go here:http://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/dodge/index.html?screenName=newVehicle&country=us&emailUrl=goToEmailForm%28%27R%27%29 go to "equipment listing" and enter your VIN # it will generate a pdf file with what your DJ was equipped with when it left the factory. Other than that you will probably have to purchase a used unit from a supplier on the net.
  2. You can only add nav to it if the radio was "NAV READY" which entails getting the code to enable it. You can not run apps from SD card with the Uconnect software it would have to employ either Android or Apple Ready software structure. Another sales person who will say what you want hear for their commission.
  3. You require an OBD2 scanner on the DJ , this will also let you reset them. You can also go to PEP BOYS or other auto supply and they will read them.
  4. Working on my Samsung Tab 3. This is the first time I have used it with this new forum format.
  5. The codes must be read by scanner on the DJ the old wiggle the key trick has not been valid for quite some time. The scanner will allow you to reset them also.

    "BAM Presenting"

    Welcome to the forum.
  7. Nice wheels - maybe dad will get a chance for wheel time.
  8. Well as you know that is the one but there are a few others also to pick up fixes/mods etc.
  9. Well in a number of cases the gear range selector fails completely and you end up in your situation. Have the battery tested to eliminate it.
  10. Truth be said it is a 2009 and if it is the original battery possibly in DJ since 2008 , get it load tested. The tranny range selector causes this problem also , it is well posted problem as it wears out and one of the first indicators is starting in neutral but not park.
  11. "Canadian Journey's do not get Traffic from Sirius Canada. Other "higher end" Canadian Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep models does get Traffic from Sirius Canada, and usually only has one year free trial. 5 year free trials are available for our neighbors in the states." I have new Jeep Limited with RA4 nav and latest software and the above does not apply.
  12. When I sign on to CONTENT/UNREAD there boxes at the bottom right that reference thread subject previously posted , just use those.
  13. Congrats Dave I am sure you will like the Cherokee - lots of electronics to relearn and tons of nice features , I really enjoy mine. See you on the Jeep Cherokee forum.
  14. The actual inverter in the 2011 models was physically located in the center stack by the radio module.
  15. Possibly a broken wire in the loom that goes to the door from the cabin , this has been a reported source of the problem.
  16. Have you tried rebooting CanBus by disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes?
  17. How old is the battery? Will it start in Neutral if not in Park?
  18. While I know we are talking 2 different FCA products my 2016 RA4 has software in place so I can select either static or dynamic guidelines plus the time delay for camera turning off after shift from reverse.
  19. The built in battery saver feature causes funny noises when it turns the power off after 30 minutes , it could be some gates etc require power to maintain last setting and when battery saver actuates then return to home position. Check the timing to see how long after you turn off the DJ the noises start.
  20. Do you see white smoke out the exhaust? Have an oil analysis done.
  21. Try here: https://navrepair.com/collections/programming-and-anti-theft-unlocking/products/anti-theft-code
  22. My '11 DJ would start with my fob in my jacket hanging in the front hall closet. Having said that the wall of the closet was only 3 feet from the DJ parked in my garage. Could be the same circumstance with good conditions for transfer of signal in your case , Before you get bent out of shape try having some hold the fob at different distances to rule out funny coincidence.
  23. Could be as simple as the "rim offset" is different. You can't fix that in itself but you could use a wheel spacer.
