The intake tube is RPM motorsports out of Arizona.  The ported throttle body and upper/lower intake manifold were from Modern Muscle Extreme out of Virginia.  I was actually looking just looking at there site and now they have a 80mm hemi throttle body kit.  Now that’s exciting!  I wish I still had my RT Journey.

I actually made my intake with 3.5 inch diameter tubing to get more air than that of the smaller diameter tubing eBay and K&N intake.  K&N does not make an intake set up for the 2018 Dodge Journey.  Later I actually went away with the “CAI” set up for a aftermarket tubing that runs from the stock air box to the throttle body.  Eliminating all that restrictive black plenum before your throttle body.  I also added a ported throttle body and upper and lower intake manifold.  That’s where the noticeable throttle response and power came into play.  I’ll take my setup over your proven K&N CAI any day. Lol

I pieced together an air intake and primed and painted my original calipers.  The intake was pretty easy.   Items needed were the pipe, filter, coupler and hose clamp, and brass fitting for the small hose coming from the motor that was connected to the original air cleaner box.  I went with a 3.5” pipe, coupler and clamp.  Painting the calipers was easy.  Take the wheels off, put a couple coats of VHT caliper primer on, and then a couple coats of VHT black caliper paint on the calipers and anything else you want to spray while your down there.  Lol. I can honestly say, the caliper paint made a big difference visually.

most products like this are more subjective to what you want to believe. only a dino test would show any improvement, kind of like k-n air filters giving you better performance and mpg (which i do use but havent noticed anything except saving money of the replacement filters) kind of like a placebo pill if you believe in it it works for a while.  just my thoughts.plus to save any money on gas mileage it would be a very long time considering the price they want.also your friend doing both things at one time he really cant say which one helped him the most if any.

actually since he is talking about the rear plate they use the nut insert the uses a different thread them the ones you showed and he would be better to make them fix it then for him to try to fix it. the insert and screws can be bought off amazon or someplace that handles such screws.       M6 6mm Flat Head Aluminum Rivet Nut Blind Insert Nut Pack Of 100 not sure if this is the size he needs but this what he needs and then has to remove the old ones that are bad put in the new ones than buy the screws. you can u tube to see hoe to install them buy buying the tool or rigging one up yourself. i actually have a a small cup of them off the floor when i worked at the caravan plant 10 yrs ago still haven't used any of them yet...lol

Dealers suck.  Yours seems to suck more than many.

Yes, you can add the OEM backup camera if you have the 8.4" screen.  Of course you can also add aftermarket ones of you find the OEM one to be too expensive.

So basically you want to do a custom exhaust like this? I did this when I first got it. Sounds nice start up and take off. As far as actual hp gains I cannot confirm but the wife and I like it so that’s good enough for me. Mufflers 30 each and labor was $50 total custom cost $120. Good luck in what you are looking for I provide pics of my set up. 4 inch slant burnt tip mufflers don’t remember the brand sorry.

    ok, why?

If the Charger is the same year 3.5, don't see why it wouldn't fit other than the fact that the Journey is transverse mounted. Visually look to see if there are noticeable differences. As for causing problems? No idea. Try it and see.

I believe if your a automotive entusiast or live in an enviromentally crappy air
quality (next to a steel mill) this would be the way to go , having said that I
apply "Nu-Finish " polymer 2x a year from the day I pick them up and I have
never clay barred any of my cars.

I used 3 clay bars on journey after a crosscounrty trip to make sure I got everything off and it came out pretty spiffy. My arms were killing me the next day after all the workout but it was worth the effort. The trick is to have your significant other or one of your kids spray the car as you run the bar through the entire car so that the solution doesn't dry on you. Then both of you can rinse off the residue and dry the car so its nice and clean with no streaks before you wax and buff it.

    Hi everyone.

Just moved to Toronto and bought 2009 Journey SXT. All the reviews on web say like it is terrible model, but I like this car already, am quite satisfied with its design and driving, though yes I can feel that it is used one by another person.

For now it is just simple used old vehicle. But I wanna make my car better and more beautiful, and I hope I can get many information here.

    Good to see you all.
