Hey all,
In the last weeks the keyless entry on my drivers side door stopped working. This feature usually unlocks my door when I place my hand in the door handle and locks it when I press the button on the handle.
This is the only feature that has stopped working; the actual key FOB can still lock/unlock the door with the buttons on the FOB. Even the passenger side keyless entry works. The problem is only on the drivers side door. 
Any suggestions on what can cause this issue?

Mine are OEM 176000 miles never had a blow out

Our 2014 has 231k kms and are still not bad.  In first two years 2009-2010 the Journey suspension was really fragile and brakes were under sized. Lots of links talking about it. It was fixed after that and seems to be a little better than average. Although the newer suspension design can develop a constant rattle from bushings that wear out, rear latteral links also wear early if you haul loads a lot.
 
Canada likes to sell Monroe after market struts; that are usually crap. Buy oem or KYB if possible.
 

Tranny fluid so be drained not flushed it can cause a lot of problems
When it's drained the filter gets changed also flushing doesn't help a clogged filter.
Jiffy Lube shouldn't be messing with a transmission just saying...

Jiffy lube did your transmission fluid? Did they flush it?

Not sure I understand your question. What is a "constantly drop"? Need to proofread and add some punctuation to your posts so we can understand and help. 

Never had an issue with rear struts on either of my Journeys. Not sure your hunch has any merit. 

It will need to be hooked to a scanner for a diagnostics. Too many variables to guess over the internet. 

when posting please inform us of what engine and mileage for your vehicle.. you need to have it scanned for codes that have been created to know what seems to be the problem, any local part stores can scan it for free as well, with out the codes we would just be guessing...welcome to the group as well

MUCH discussed topic problem IF you would have read thru this topic page or used the search function. It is a defective RECIC. Door Actuator. Remove the glove box and you will find it and it's one of the easiest to replace.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but you picked the wrong platform for performance parts. Pretty much anything you want to do will have to be custom or adapted from another platform. There is practically zero aftermarket performance support for these vehicles.

Some forum members may not be quite as advanced with mechanical knowledge as you seem to be. We are a diverse group with different skill sets we bring to the table.  Try to keep it in perspective and try not to come across as a know it all. 

You would assume so, but with that info not provided, we are left with swag's. 

Was not a problem on either of my DJ's. So, it is not common. I assume you are referring to the inside of the windshield or is it every inside window? Are they fogged up and the defrost does not work or when you turn the defrost on it fogs the windows? Another thing might be a leaking heater core if thats the case.

From what I can recall, the Manual Transmission was only available outside of the USA & Canada and was only used with the Diesel Engines (2.0L).
 
The Bellhousing for the Manual Trans likely won't match, getting a custom adapter made will be expensive (unless you "know a guy")....you might have better luck swapping in a Manual Trans from a 3.6L Wrangler but will still likely cost a small fortune of Custom 1-Off parts to make it all fit.
 
And then comes the Tech side of the swap, I promise that won't be fun LOL
 
All that said, I would love to see someone actually perform this swap as I've wanted to do this to my Journey for the last 7yrs, but I ain't got that kinda coin or time LOL
