If its on "F" then it's full. No need to go past full. I know some vehicles the needle will go past full, not the DJ apparently.

Do you have anyone else besides Canadian Tire up there? Seems like every forum I'm on, the Canadians are talking about Canadian Tire.....are they like a Firestone or something? What are other options for vehicle repair?

The mat is sufficient for the purpose we use it for. It is not the exact size, maybe a 1/2" gap all around and it is thin and light. Wewant it mostly for when we have the dog back there it will help at least contain the dog hair (white dog/black carpet dont mix well). I looked at weathertech splash guards, but I'm a cheapster. I found these on ebay for $46 for the set of 4. Probably Chinese knockoffs, the directions were in German though and from what I could tell from the instructions, they were for a BMW.
Yes, I installed them myself. Did not have to drill in any sheetmetal, just the plastic fender liner. I bought some plastic pins like that hold the plastic pieces on the underside of cars and drilled a few holes and pushed the pins in.

How many miles on the car? What engine? Do you perform regular maintenance as required? Brakes are shabby as mkcarter states. Tell your "mechanic" to replace the rotors and pads with some quality aftermarket parts, not the same OEM stuff. Ticking could be any number of things, especially if you don't change the oil regularly. Try to pinpoint where the noise is coming from. Car would not start? Could be a battery going bad or corroded/loose connections. "Broken part having to do with the motor for the ventilation/AC/heat"? Unfortunately some things break sometimes. Add some more details so we can assist you better.

I could never wait for 10,000 MILES before changing oil in a vehicle. I'm old school 3 month/3000 miles. I will, however, be changing at 6 months/5,000 MILE interval when I do the first oil change and start using full synthetic.

Just remember
miles x 1.6 = kms.
kms x .6 = miles

Today I took the Journey in for an alignment at the dealer. Too many times we complain about getting nickeled and dimed for unnessary services. That's one of the reasons why I went to a new dealer this time. As I was waiting in the customer lounge, a older couple came in and sat next to me. After 5-10 minutes one of the young service men came in and informed them that they had brought their vehicle in prematurely for their oil change. He explained that were not due for another 3,000 kilometres. If they wanted he would still change the oil but he didn't want them to spend money on something they didn't need. Needless to say they were quite impressed as was I. They told me they were going through some pretty rough times and had prayed for some good luck. It may be a small thing, but it sure brought a smile to their faces. I emailed the dealer and told them what I had witnessed and congratulated them on the good deed. It's nice to know that there is still some good service being performed at dealerships. Anyone else have a feel good story to share?

Dont understand why people do that anyway.....thousands of people see my license plate every day. Can't cover it up driving down the road.

I've searched as well and this or dealer are about the only options right now. I remember reading somewhere about a guy who trimmed down the H10 and he was able to make it fit? Not sure if possible or not.
I'm also on the lookout for maybe an LED replacement. I'll update the forum if I find anything.

Yeah that ^^ You can buy set of aftermarket fog lights and install them yourself. Involves wiring and installing relays and switches if you're comfortable with that kind of thing.
