    I would recommend not manipulating your DJ to achieve this.
    I always say if it's not broken don't fix it, not to mention the overwhelming distraction in low light conditions such as at night.
    But that's just my two cents.

    With respect to the Power Transfer Unit (PTU), use only MOPAR Gear & Axle Lubricant SAE 75W-90 with a capacity of 0.8 metric liters.
    The Rear Driveline Module or RDA will also take the same lubricant as the PTU however capacity is 0.6 metric liters.
    ***Keep in mind these are nominal refill capacities and amounts will vary slightly depending on your refill procedure.***
    If you aren't sure about performing this service yourself, do not hesitate to get your Journey to your local Dodge service facility.

    I haven't experienced this issue myself, nor have the other Journey owners here in the office.
    I can confirm however that there have been a number of flash enhancements released for similar conditions.
    May be best to check with your Dodge dealer on your next service visit to see if any of these enhancements are outstanding.

    Your dealer is also a good resources for confirming these updates, in this case there was contradicting information which your dealer could help clear up based on the access they have to the specified updates.
    @Daks1954 - Navteq is in fact responsible for the map updates available for the Uconnect systems. Hopefully that clears things up, sorry for the miscommunication that lead to this confusion.

    I'm sorry to hear about the front end vibration you're experiencing. You mentioned that the vibration only started when you put the summer tires back on? Have the wheels/tires been balanced recently?
    Be sure to speak with the Service Manager during your next visit.

    Do you find this noise is more pronounced under certain conditions, such as colder weather?
    I'd recommend getting your Journey to your dealer when you have a chance and duplicate the issue for them.
    This may simply be a characteristic of the vehicle, worth a look though.

    There is a power steering return hose available for Dodge Journeys operating in regions where temperatures are -23 C (-10 F) and below. As always, please follow the specifications for fluids as indicated in your Owner's Manual.
    FCA Canada suggests that if customers are experiencing an issue with the power steering hose, to contact their FCA dealership for a diagnosis or can contact FCA Customer Care.

    Based on your model year and amount of kilometers, your DJ likely falls within the parameters for the powertrain warranty (5 years/100,000kms)
    You mentioned another dealer confirming the noise would be corrected by replacing the engine.
    If this is noise is the byproduct of a defect, the P/T warranty would likely cover engine replacement.
    I'm leaning towards the fact that your dealer has confirmed the noise is a characteristic which explains why they aren't replacing the engine.
    In any event, I'm sorry to learn of your level of dissatisfaction with your DJ.
