Dodgefamily2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Report Share Posted April 20, 2016 Just purchased a 2016 journey and it has the factory installed DVDs player and when u go to the DVD screen menu on the front seat screen it's says disc 1 and disc 2 in the top corners but can't find anywhere that says it's a 2 disc system or not. Don't really want to try and stick 2 disc in and wreck it, with one disc in u can click back and forth between disc 1 and 2 button and it doesn't do anything. Anyone know ? bramfrank Posted April 20, 2016 Report Share Posted April 20, 2016 (edited) Well this is interesting: When I go to the Dodge site and specify a 2016 Journey it offers me the manual for the 8.4A and 8.4AN - that would be something new. I didn't notice until I got to the section about surround sound . . . . which we who have the regular 8.4 and 8.4N radios do not have.Also, there is no second disc, but if you gently tried to insert one it wouldn't break anything unless you forced it. So feel free to give it a try - it's perfectly reasonable to try and insert a second disc when the radio prompts you for it. Besides, that's what warranties are for!!Does your radio an APPS soft key on the bottom row of the display?
