  2. Hi Journeyaholic, Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your concerns. Did 2late4u and dhh3’s replies answer your questions? I would recommend taking your vehicle to an FCA dealership to diagnose your concerns if they continue to occur.
  3. mikixbox, Thanks for posting this info! Normagal, Punch in your VIN here: https://rsur.extra.chrysler.com/rsur/Uconnect.do. From that site, you will be able to download the updates, which you then install in your vehicle. If you have any other questions about this process, feel free to let me know! For all: I've posted a list below that includes the improvements the update provides, as well as the potential symptoms that it fixes. SOFTWARE UPDATE: • ** Improve FM radio reception. (This only applies to 2013 or 2014 LX vehicles with RE6, RB6 radios located in Dubai).** • ** Intermittently the radio may reset.** • Radio display screen shows “Test Mode”. • Navigation screen locks up or display will be blank. • Navigation feature lockout disable (International Only). • Navigation system resets intermittently. • Translation improvements/corrections. • System consistency and operational improvements for menu selections, month/date formatting, and Garmin translation functions. • Radio system improvements during remote start operation. • Unable to adjust radio volume using steering wheel switch intermittently. • Second screen is blank when using split screen function. • Some functionality for Japanese and Korean - keyboard, search, sort and jump. • Unable to add contacts to the favorite list. • Unable to dial the phone from the radio, while still able to dial from the phone. • Unable to delete a cell phone number from the favorite list. • More space available for phone book entries. • BlackBerry support for playing songs. • Reduce ticking noise during CD/USB pause and VR is silent between prompts. • VR unable to transition from Non-navigation to navigation mode. • iPod screen is displayed with navigation screen. • Asian language translation added. • Highlighted preset continues blinking. • Takes more then one button press to select preset #10. • Unable to adjust volume from steering wheel switches. • Clock adjust pop up message displayed in English rather than current language. • Can not connect to the phone after it has been disconnect. • Teleprompter screen shows incomplete text. • Some functionality for traffic & weather jump button. • After changing a language and then selecting CDDA “of” is displayed as a tracking number. • In “Set Date Year” only 3 digits are displayed. • Split map view will not cancel. • Map screen turns black when driving. • When in Italian, the destination arrival text will overlap onto the map. • Does not accept Iraq when commanding “Set Target Country”. • Some pop up message characters is displayed with “!#”. • Traffic programming slow to start.

  7. Hi groundhog, Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your concern. There are a couple of TSBs that may apply to your concerns. One deals with alarm sensitivity triggered by the dome lights (TSB# 08-002-11) and the other deals with the alarm intermittently going off for no reason (TSB# 08-009-12). I have screengrabs of those TSBs attached below. Also, following up on bigtsr’s comment, I can check for outstanding recalls and RRTs as well if you PM me your VIN. Hope this helps! Keep us posted.

  10. Hi Rckcrwlr, Sorry to hear about your concern. Were you having any previous concerns with your hands-free module? I have a screengrab attached below of a TSB (08-008-12 REV. A) that may apply for you. The TSB is meant to repair hands free module symptoms with a software enhancement.
  11. redtomatoman, Be sure to keep us posted on how everything goes at the dealership! One piece of advice I always like to give customers with intermittent issues is letting the dealership hold on to your vehicle for a longer period of time. This can give them more time to duplicate your concern.

  16. Hi Carrie Peavey, Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this concern. What is the longest your dealership has kept your vehicle when attempting to diagnose it? With an intermittent issue like this, they may need to hang onto it for a longer period of time in order to duplicate the concern.

  22. Hi Jstmahoney, Did you have your Uconnect updated at a dealership through a TSB or did you download the update yourself online? Either way, do you have a software version number that you can provide?
