  1. Hopefully this fix permanently takes care of it for you, Ksweds! As bfurth pointed out, your dealership opening a case with our engineers has ensured that this will be documented within the company, but I would be happy to document this from a customer care standpoint as well. You would just need to PM me your VIN and further details through here.
  2. Keep us posted, Ksweds. It seems like the TSB has been a successful repair for some, but unfortunately not all. It sounds like your dealership is already working with Dodge engineers/technical specialists, correct?
  3. I'm glad you successfully completed the update! Keep us posted on if this clears up your radio station changing concern.
  4. Hey Patrick, I am sorry to hear about your Journey’s recent condition. If you private message me the last eight characters of your VIN and contact info, including email and phone, I can forward your concern to our International Customer Care Team.
  5. You could certainly be correct about that, 09RT. Keep us posted on how the door ajar switch testing goes. If you decide you would like to have a dealership look at it again, feel free to reach out to me through PM if you would like assistance scheduling an appointment.
  6. Have the dealerships you've been to been able to duplicate your concern and/or tried to diagnose it?
  7. With a recall or CSN, it would be performed then marked as completed for your VIN. So, crossroadjohn, it would be a one-time replacement (if necessary). With that being said, if you have this completed and have issues down the road that you think may be related to R65, we do have a recall reimbursement request process setup through Mopar Owner Connect. Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. You can read more about that here: https://www.moparownerconnect.com/OC/US/en-US/sub/Pages/RecallsReimbursement.aspx
  8. While it certainly could be normal, it would be helpful to have a dealership take a look at your concerns to be sure. Has the vehicle done this since you've owned it?
  9. Congrats and welcome to both of you!
  10. Hi Patrick, The official recommendation from the brand team for required maintenance is to follow the schedule shown on pages 481-482 of the Owner's Manual. I have screenshots attached below.
  11. You can check for any open recalls on your vehicle by punching in your VIN here: http://recalls.mopar.com/ Whether the repair is covered by your lifetime warranty would depend on the diagnosis, but it wouldn't hurt to ask around about it to a couple different dealerships. You can reach out to me if you would like any assistance scheduling an appointment.
  12. Is this happening every time or intermittently? If it's intermittent, do you notice any specific conditions when it occurs?
  13. If anyone has not received this letter, but is curious to know if they may be affected by this (or any other) recall, you can punch in your VIN to check here: http://recalls.mopar.com/. All recalls are VIN-specific.
  14. Have you had your DJ to a dealership yet to check this out, Johnny?
  15. Welcome to the forum, John! If you decide to move forward with purchasing a DJ, I believe you will find this to be a very helpful community.
  16. I think jkeaton is right on the money with this. First, I would do as jkeaton says and take a ride with a service advisor in order to specifically demonstrate your concern to them. If you still have issues after this, I would try another dealership. Unfortunately, if a dealership really can't duplicate what you're experiencing they won't be able to diagnose or repair your vehicle.
  17. I believe TSB 02-001-13 is what jkeaton is referring to. I have it pasted below. Unfortunately, it does not apply to 2015 model year DJ's. Either way, with your vehicle still being under warranty, I'd recommend a trip to the dealership to have your concerns diagnosed. SUBJECT: Noise From Front Of Vehicle Over Bumps Or When Turning OVERVIEW: This bulletin involves replacing the upper front strut bearing to correct the noise. MODELS: 2012-2013 (JC) Journey NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles built between December 01, 2011 (MDH 1201XX) and December 05, 2012 (MDH 1205XX). SYMPTOM/CONDITION: The customer may experience a noise from the front upper strut mount going over bumps or when turning.
  18. There are no TSBs for this. Have you considered having a dealership take a look at this concern, photemis?
  19. When is your appointment, Eric? Be sure to keep us posted on how everything goes!
  20. Mike, It sounds like your vehicle should still be under warranty, so I'd recommend a trip to the dealership before hitting that 36,000 mile mark to have your DJ diagnosed. As others have said above, this could very well be normal, but it still may be a good idea to have it checked out at a dealership.
  21. Definitely keep us posted on how everything goes at your appointment, Harrymh!
  22. Have you checked for appointment availability at other dealerships, Harrymh? You can search for dealerships by ZIP code here: http://www.dodge.com/en/find-dealer/.
  23. Is the dealership you've been going to the closes one to you, Medabum? As a note, you aren't required to return to strictly your purchasing dealership for repairs. You can search for dealerships near you if you punch in your ZIP code on this page: http://www.dodge.com/en/find-dealer/
  24. I can't seem to find any TSBs related to this concern, bcgahill. Were there any specific conditions when this first started happening? I would recommend bringing your vehicle to a FCA dealership.
