Your HFM module (blue tooth) could be draining it.  Common problem.  Pull fuse 131 under the dash on the passenger side.  Charge it.  If it does not go dead, then that is your problem.

Your battery is probably dead or very low.  The Service AWD message will come up if the battery is low.  Charge it, then try starting it.  You might have a bad battery that needs replacing, or you have a draw.

After you do jump start it, go and get the charging system and battery diagnosed. First see if there is a problem with the alternator or battery themselves.I just changed my original 2012 battery this past Spring. Then, move on from there.

    I'm just guessing.

In any event, the only way to truly identify the problem is to have the codes checked.  Some auto parts stores will do a diagnostic check for free.  Call around.  This won't fix your problem, but at least it will give you some peace of mind knowing what is wrong.  This is not something you will likely be able to fix yourself.  If you can't get anyone to diagnose the problem, it is time to visit your friendly neighbourhood Dodge dealer.

    Best of luck

yes evidently the fix has not been disclosed to us here at the forum. people come with problems but a lot of one time posters after getting the problem solved dont bother to report back on what happened and how it got resolved, thus leaving others who develop the same problem with no idea on how to fix it. so please share with our readers on what happens to your vec... thanks in advance and good luck.....

actually i just had a abs light on and traction control light, the part stores can only check the check engine light i tried 3 different part stores they say the abs system are different  software due to the car manufacturers engineering. mine ended up being the right front wheel speed sensor, cost was $69 for the part and the dodge dealership to install it. great price

Bad tie rods or ball joints

    just guessing

As 2late4u said, get it checked out immediately.  It is abnormal and dangerous.

Your steering angle sensor is bad.

    Get a code reading.
    C0051-49 code

Binds up rear end, causing tire to skip.

600 bucks or so for the part and 3 hours labor to install.

    Good luck.

If they came off a post-middle 2012 Journey, they could not be 16", since the larger calipers make it impossible to fit that size wheel on the vehicle.  17" tires aren't outrageously expensive.  And yes. if you decide to do the 'big brake upgrade' (or you get a newer Journey) at some point these wheels will still work for you.

if they came off a 2014 then yes shouldn't be a problem, might just want to measure some other rims just to make sure

I did the same thing, but I went with a 17 inch rim and a higher walled tire.  Don't forget to check the equivalent tire size to match the rim size (should match the original 19" rim and tire height) or otherwise, your odometer and speedometer will be off.  If you check the online tire stores, they will show equivalent tire sizes to the original.

I hope I am making sense.

If you have the small brakes the 16" rims will work, assuming proper bolt pattern and offset.

David is right on.  All of our dealers here in my area of Canada have their own body shops.  Perhaps you could check a dealer there.  One of the guys at the shop might even be kind enough to tell you a quick way to get it open.  I am sure that you are not the first person to have this problem.
