When it's talking, quickly turn up the volume on the radio.  It will turn up the NAV volume and not the radio at that time.

3 years, 36k bumper to bumper US warranty. And quite frankly, your making a mountain out of a mole hill.  Something just needs greased.  Nothing is "wrong" with your suspension.  Some tech at Dodge didn't put enough grease on a bushing and it's making noise when it flexes.  That doesn't mean the entire vehicle is junk just because you have a creaking noise.  Take it to a competent mechanic or the dealership and allow them to grease the bushings and all will be good in the world again.  ALL vehicles have issues at some point.  It don't matter what vehicle you buy, this could happen to any of them.

Maybe your being to gentle on the vehicle and you need to do a couple e-brake donuts in the parking lot somewhere.  Drive it like you stole it or at least rented it.. haha

I've never seen that.  You would have gotten supplemental pages for your owners manual if that was the case in the mail.  The light does work as long as nothing is wrong.  I too was waiting.. and waiting for the light to come on.  So I changed my oil at about 7,800 miles and not long after that, the light came on.  So I resent and moved on.  I do run full synthetic.  If your worried, then change your oil when you feel comfortable, and ignore the light.

Warranty says your covered, so personally, I'd skip it.  It's just a way for your dealership to generate more money for them.  You know no matter how good your vehicle is, they'll find something.

Sorry but I don't entirely agree.  They do signal others that your backing up, but without the light in reverse, how else would you see when it's dark.  With that said, the brighter bulbs I put in mentioned above do add additional light over stock bulbs to see better on dark nights.  No need for extra LED lights at this time for me.  BTW, they're working awesome.  I highly recommend them if your looking for additional light.

I'm assuming your out of warranty?  Sorry to hear your having troubles, but the dealers going to be one of the best places to figure out whats going on.  Hopefully it's something stupid.  It could be as simple as replacing the battery.  I'm sure it's not old being a 2016 but I've seen newer batteries fail and with the newer cars, a bad battery does all kinds of crazy electrical stuff.  Having the battery tested before you have it towed would be a good start.  With that said, I've seen batteries test fine, but were still bad or just had a bad cell.  I'd still start there.  After that, I'd let the dealer figure it out.

Well, what is the year and trim level of the Journey your looking at?  That makes a different on what kind of answers you should/would get.  Overall, I wouldn't recommend any other motor than the v6 version, and for me, AWD was a must since it's my winter car.  I originally set out for just 2 rows of seating, but ended up getting the 3 rows and love the extra space.  I've used that back row more than I thought I would.  I would recommend making sure what ever you look at has the backup camera.  It does help alot when backing up especially in parking lots.  Fuel mileage is between 16-25mpg with the v6 version.

Overall I really like the Journey.  So far I've put about 15k mileage on our 2016 Crossroads and really enjoy driving it.  My wife loves it too.

It's either your controls or the blender door not adjusting properly.  The dealer should be able to pull any error codes from the HVAC part of the computer.  You could have a bad recirculation motor or a stuck blend door that isn't opening and closing properly.  Could just mean you need a calibration performed by the dealer.

I have a 2016 Crossroads with tinted windows and sometimes at night when it's really dark it's a little tough to see when backing up.  I know others have put brighter light bulbs in and wanted to report back I did the same.  However, details of the bulb are somewhat lacking.

So, what I purchased was JDM ASTAR 50w Cree 7440 LED White reverse light bulbs.  6000k temp color so they're pretty white.  These bulbs are for the DJ's with LED tail lights. The bulb is bigger than what you'd think, but they fit the housing without issue.  I looked at several other bulbs and even asked sellers to recommend one knowing I was after brighter bulbs.  This was one of the recommended ones over the original I was looking at.  They were a little expensive, but I actually think they're worth the money in the end.  Installation was fast an easy too.  The brightness is at least double if not more, much brighter than the OEM stock bulbs so now I can actually see.  Also the extra light adds to the clearness of the backup camera. Ebay Item number 331338226596.

Hope that helps anyone who's interested.  I have no before or after photos, but I assure you they are brighter.  If you buy them, you'll be pleased.

If you keep wax on it, and keep the salt off the vehicle during winter, I don't see why you would need it.  Now Pa has winters but I'm guessing not like you have in Ontario.  I hit the car wash local to me that has the under carriage spray about once a week during bad weather conditions.  But.. If your overly concerned, I would have it done sooner than later if your planning on keeping this vehicle for an extended period.  Generally I keep a vehicle 3-5 years so doing stuff like under coating only helps the next owner.

People who don't use cruise control when on the highway.  That grinds my gears haha.  I hit the highway, and set the cruise.  Then play the leap frog game with multiple cars on my way to work. And texting while driving.  That one gets me too, while traving 80-90mph.. swerving all over the road while texting.  Not good.

Yeah, to me, it looks like the clasp is closed, so pulling the lever and using a screw driver to open it back up should do the trick.

Congrats on the new DJ and Welcome to the site. We own a 2016 and really like it.  No issues so far and we added the OEM camera for a reasonable cost at the dealership.  Maybe worth looking into if your interested.  Once you have a camera, it's hard to go without so we added it.
