silenze got a reaction from jkeaton in Is it possible to add automatic headlights???
as previously mentioned you need the light sensor, auto headlight switch, and the sales code added. the only way is for your service advisor to open a star case and have dodge add the sales code. then they have to reflash your computer. most dealers wont take the time to do all that.

i would use the tow hitch. the roof mounted cargo carriers are terrible for fuel economy

silenze got a reaction from jkeaton in Dodge Journey wins Consumer Reports 2017 Award
Lowest-Rated Midsized SUV: Dodge Journey
http://www.consumerreports.org/new-cars/10-of-the-lowest-rated-cars-for-2017/
On paper, this midsized SUV may sound compelling, but in our tests we found that the Journey has a confining interior and lacks agility, and the V6 delivers the worst fuel economy in its class. Plus, it suffers from below-average reliability and poor performance in IIHS small-overlap frontal crash tests. Even though it rides well and has a relatively quiet cabin, families may be deterred by the snug third-row seat. The Journey is late in its model run, with discounts commonplace. But don’t be tempted. This low-rated model is a poor value anywhere—even at the airport rental lot

silenze got a reaction from larryl in Thinking on getting a 2012 Journey
don't buy a dodge journey. it will be impossible to get parts at a reasonable price outside the US.

silenze reacted to Milous in Rear hatch wont open
There is a small 'emergency' access panel on the inside of the liftgate trim, at the bottom center below the light. Pry it open with a small flat screwdriver. Inside is what looks like a large plastic screwhead that can be turned with a phillips or large flathead screwdriver to open the hatch.

silenze got a reaction from Slohnd in Where do you place you phone with the 8.4 touchscreen
If you look at the pic there is a slim magnet you place between your phone and its case. If you dont use a case it might fit under your battery cover. But probably not -

I really miss the old mobile version. This new one has ads at the bottom and is really slow.
Posting is fast but browsing for posts sucks

silenze got a reaction from dhh3 in A once very proud and vocal owner, now wondering.
I have spots of paint bubbling on my hatch. It looks like someone used touch up paint and that is what is bubbling

silenze got a reaction from dhh3 in Parts only available from Mopar?
Independent mechanics usually use dealer parts as a last resort. They wont get a big discount like at the local parts store
