  1. No the new fuse did not fix the fan problem
  2. The fuse was blown. I swapped it with the abs fuse. Did not help. Drove it back. Currently shopping for a new vehicle.
  3. Hey guys. Took my son to disney world and my radiator cooling fan is not turning on. Temp gauge goes up when stopped and goes back down to normal over 40 mph Plenty of coolant. Just looking for a way to get the fan to turn on so i can make it home 1300 miles. 2012 v6 89000k
  4. i know they have coupons on the dodge drive app. i think they are also on the dodge website under service. i can get an oil change for under 25$ with coupon. not even worth doing it yourself.
  5. as previously mentioned you need the light sensor, auto headlight switch, and the sales code added. the only way is for your service advisor to open a star case and have dodge add the sales code. then they have to reflash your computer. most dealers wont take the time to do all that.
  6. i would use the tow hitch. the roof mounted cargo carriers are terrible for fuel economy
  7. i would try lubing it up real good. see if that works. mine hasn't had a problem since winter.
  8. dont buy a 2011 you will have lots of problems with the brakes. buy at least a 2012 or 13
  9. Lowest-Rated Midsized SUV: Dodge Journey http://www.consumerreports.org/new-cars/10-of-the-lowest-rated-cars-for-2017/ On paper, this midsized SUV may sound compelling, but in our tests we found that the Journey has a confining interior and lacks agility, and the V6 delivers the worst fuel economy in its class. Plus, it suffers from below-average reliability and poor performance in IIHS small-overlap frontal crash tests. Even though it rides well and has a relatively quiet cabin, families may be deterred by the snug third-row seat. The Journey is late in its model run, with discounts commonplace. But don’t be tempted. This low-rated model is a poor value anywhere—even at the airport rental lot
  10. this time it fixed itself after a few days. i think it must be the cold glad i dint have to crawl back there again.
  11. Hatch won't open again. I suspect the same problem. This is very annoying.
  12. don't buy a dodge journey. it will be impossible to get parts at a reasonable price outside the US.
  13. Thanks. Your a life saver
  14. Anyone know if its possible to open the rear hatch from the inside? My hatch wont open. Doors lock and unlock just fine. Handle on outside wont engage the latch. Have no idea why this is happening.
  15. there was a shortage of 8 inch screens sometime in 2011 or 2012. i know they put the 4 inch screens in the crew models and gave you a discount.
  16. i just wanted to say that i never visit this site anymore because of the new design. i use my phone to browse the site it will display the forum. i click on a post. and then an ad pops up from the bottom scrolling the screen causing me to click a different post that i dont want to read. also when i click a new post it will only display the first post and no replys
  17. all the filters seem to be made by the same company. i looked at the wix brand and they were exactly the same. i always had the dealer change the oil but i just don't have time during the week to go anymore. im just going to use this filter
  18. I bought a napa gold 57526 oil filter and it now has a closed end cap and says it now contains a free floating bypass valve. Is this safe to use on my 2011 with the v6?
  19. I really miss the old mobile version. This new one has ads at the bottom and is really slow. Posting is fast but browsing for posts sucks
  20. I have spots of paint bubbling on my hatch. It looks like someone used touch up paint and that is what is bubbling
  21. Yes it works, but only if you lick it off
  22. Independent mechanics usually use dealer parts as a last resort. They wont get a big discount like at the local parts store
