Milous got a reaction from Kubda in 2011 Dodge Journey 2nd row seat removal
Ideally, when re-installing the 2nd row seats:
Tighten all four seat track to floor fasteners to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.) in the following sequence:
    a. Front inboard bolt
    b. Front outboard bolt
    c. Rear inboard nut
    d. Rear outboard bolt
(the above procedure will result in easier fore/aft movemnet of the seats).

They can be reset no problem (and are designed that way), the procedure is not difficult at all. If you need detailed directions let me know, or you can take it to the dealer of course.

Milous got a reaction from Summer Solstice in Oil housing filter
How much oil is leaking, a lot or a minimal amount? Dripping onto the ground or just around the filter housing?

"...oil filter gasket which has a hair line crack and has become square in shape and quite solid in touch..."

Not clear what is meant by this. Bob says the gasket has a crack? Or a crack in the housing? The oil filter gasket shape is round when new, if overtightened I supposed it could flatten out a bit.

I would start by replacing the oil filter and gasket, it's very easy to do and is replaced from above. Make sure it's the correct filter (68191349AB or 68191349AC). A very similar looking filter (68079744Ax) was used in 2013 and earlier models which some people have installed by mistake, which can cause serious issues and leaking. Clean the area around the filter after changing it so you can determine where it is leaking.

What exactly is the dealer saying that needs to be replaced and what are they quoting you?

Milous got a reaction from Eduardo831 in Disabling seat belt chime
The following sequence of events must occur within sixty (60) seconds of the ignition switch being placed in the On position in order for the programming to be completed successfully.
1.With the ignition switch in any position except On or Start, buckle the driver side front seat belt.
2.Turn the ignition switch to the On position and wait for the seatbelt indicator reminder function to conclude (about six seconds).
3.Unbuckle and buckle the driver side front seat belt three or more times, ending with the belt buckled.
4.Turn the ignition switch to any position except On or Start to toggle the BeltAlert feature from its current setting (from active to inactive, or from inactive to active). A single chime tone will provide an audible confirmation that the programming sequence has been successfully completed

    The newer the better...
For the screen, p/n 5064993AI is the same for the 2011-2015 Journey.
For the radio, the part numers have changed each year, I would stay with the 2014 to best match your vehicle (68210554AE)
The suffix change on part numbers (such as AG to AH) typically signifies a minor change/update. A totally new part number is a more significant change.
2011 Radio 5091135AG superseded to AH
    2012 Radio 5091038AF superseded to / AG / AH / AI / AJ
    2013 Radio 5091367AE superseded to / AF
    2014 Radio 68210554AE (also 68210554ZE or 68210554ZH)
    2015 Radio 68240130AA
    For reference:
MSRP on the 5064993AI screen is $1410 (U.S.) and $1900 (Canada)
For some reason pricing is not listed for the 68210554AE radio. Early model year radios have listed for around $1200 (U.S.) and $2000 (Canada).

Yes, the block heater can be added, but it will be fairly expensive via the dealer. The heater is around $100 (U.S.) and install time is about 4 hours, it's quite an involved process.

Add me to the list as well. In 15+ years of visiting and participating in countless forums, this has got to be the WORST for layout and intuitiveness. It is also extremely slow, pages take forever to load. The rookie designer of this software has to be someone who is not familiar with forums at all, and certainly someone who should not be involved in web site design. Maybe their goal was to design "the worst message board layout on the net". If so, they succeeded.
