  1. Sounds like you need another mechanic who knows how to perform diagnostics.....many factors can cause this code. You've addressed a few of them (plug and coil), a competent mechanic will need to check other causes: Faulty spark plug in cylinder 1 (DONE) No compression in cylinder 1 Damage or excessive wear of spark plug wires and/or coils (DONE) Faulty fuel injector Clogged EGR valves or tubes Burned valves Inaccurate ignition timing Vacuum leaks Low fuel (rare) Leaking from head gasket Cracked distributor cap Faulty camshaft sensor Faulty crankshaft sensor Faulty mass air flow sensor Faulty oxygen sensor Faulty throttle position sensor Faulty catalytic converter Faulty powertrain control module
  2. Don't overthink it. Buy a torque wrench and look up the proper torque if you are that worried.
  3. That's the floor storage bins in front of the rear seats. Have you looked in the storage compartments?
  4. Seems like no one has done this or is interested in doing this.

    Welcome to the forum!
  6. Sorry guys for all the spam. I have reported to admins. There are literally hundreds of spam posts clogging up the various forums. I spent an hour yesterday going through and purging.
  7. Spammers hit us hard! Need help! Hundreds of spam posts.

  8. Moved to the correct section.
  9. Programming another FOB normally requires having 2 working FOB's to begin with.
  10. You will need to hit up a junk yard and pull the parts off another one. Then a visit to the dealer to enable the functions if they even still support it. May be better off going aftermarket.
