  1. Never attempt to open high-pressure AC refrigerant lines while the system is charged; high-pressure lines (often exceeding 200 to 300 psi) can cause severe frostbite or blind you. First, have a licensed technician evacuate the refrigerant using an automotive recovery machine. Once evacuated, disconnect the lines using a specialized spring-lock or disconnect tool.
  2. Why are you quoting a 16 year old thread?
  3. P0760: Failed or failing Shift Solenoid: The most common cause which you already addressed Dirty or contaminated transmission fluid: Causes the solenoid to stick. Wiring/connector issues: Corroded or damaged wiring in the solenoid circuit. Valve body issues: Restricted hydraulic passages. Faulty Transmission Control Module (TCM) P0733: Low Transmission Fluid: The most common cause, reducing hydraulic pressure. Dirty/Contaminated Fluid: Restricts flow and damages solenoids. Faulty Shift Solenoids: Specifically those responsible for 3rd gear. Internal Transmission Damage: Slipping clutches or broken bands (e.g., intermediate servo issues). Wiring/Sensor Issues: Damaged wiring or faulty speed
  4. Welcome to the forum. You can lift the vehicle 1.5" - 2" using spacer-based lift kits without needing to replace major suspension components like struts, control arms, or CV axles.
  5. Cigarette lighter fuse is located in the interior fuse box up under the glove box. You did look there?
  6. I don't know either. No issues on my end. 😁
  7. That post was over 5 years ago. The video shows what he did to remedy the issue. Bleed the cooling system.
  8. Best is highly objective and determined by your driving habits/conditions. I suggest talking to a tire dealer (Discount Tire for example) to see what they recommend.
  9. Obviously there is something else going on. Who's been working on it? I have never heard of a flex plate breaking on these cars, much less 4 of them in that short of a time frame. Perhaps an alignment issue between engine/trans?
  10. Turn the wheel hard right, remove the access panel, replace the battery. Not hard.
  11. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!
  12. Just google "Dodge Journey Heat shield".

  14. Check ebay for "rocker panel". I found some kits on there but not sure if that's all you need.

    insurance????

I carry liability and comp only unless it's financed and the bank requires full coverage. No collision. I like to roll the dice. Significantly cheaper.
  16. Difficult to diagnose or guess at a cost over the internet. Best thing is to get it to a shop for a proper diagnosis, then you will know the cost of any repairs.
  17. IIRC, If the vehicle is not equipped with these features from the factory, the "hardware" will not be there. The wiring may be. You would need the seats and steering wheel, possibly some module(s) from a vehicle that has those options, swap them in and then have the software updated to enable the features.
  18. Glad you are posting here as well as the other forum. Nice to see these vehicles being brought back to life!
