I don't know how to pop the shifter bezel
There is somebody on the forum who plasti-dipped all silver parts and that looks nice as well. I'd like to know how to pop the bezel, though.
As for the center console - I'm fine with flat black, just didn't like the silver parts :shades:

I use the Scosche Magic Mount. The sticky party is mounted vertically as far right as possible just beneath the silver trim to the right of the rightmost stereo knob.
The phone is held to the mount by a magnet so it's really easy to attach and grab without fumbling with any buttons or moving parts. It works great. My phone has never fallen off. Just make sure the metal plate is attached to the outside of your case unless you have a super thin case.

This was the reason why I ended up with VHT coating. Tried plastidip, vynil wrap and the clear coat.
Plasti dip - easy to apply and remove, but distorts the light - not "clean" look
Vynil wrap - the best look, high visibility of the light when lit together with black out look. The best look, but hard to apply on curved lights. I didn't manage to wrap without bubbles, so eventually removed.
VHT - easy to apply. No light distortion, but reduces the level of light emission IMHO. Not completely blacked out look (I was looking for black out), but definitely darker than stock.
All in all - VHT was the best solution for me.

I would agree with Lobitz. I've had plasti dip for a while on the tail lights and was not very happy with the look. Plastidip is sturdy, but it disperses the light output and make it looking unfinished.

I would call niteshades "less reversible" than film

One disadvantage of nice shade for me was that this mod is irreversible. I was not sure if I like the blackout, so excluded bite shade from my options list. I tried plastidip product, but it was too mat and diffused the output too much, so the lights didn't look clean...
I ended up with tinting film. Learned tinting buy trying and failing, but if you have enough of the film - you can do it.
Blackout Tint was a perfect solution to me as the mod is reversible and provides the look I want.

The specs for the device you need to build are on our page.. under the hardware tab on the home page. It's fairly straight forward and relatively cheap. I'm working to build it on new proprietary hardware that will be even cheaper, in the future.

Thats what I'm proud about I have a remote, so no need to wire it down to the dash, just to the battery and that's it.

Alright. the signature image is complete. I'm sure bugs will come up, but won't be able to do anything about that until more people are on board and using the system.

Pocket is great, but I personally don't feel comfortable feeling something sized iPhone 6 sitting in the pocket. Besides, I use the phone for nav, to stream music and as escort radar display. So need the device in a plain view.

    Yep, phone as display: http://www.amazon.com/Escort-0100014-1-SmartRadar-iPhone-Version/dp/B008LXRA7E
Siri doesn't like my accent and voice activated systems never understand me Besides, I don't like them telling me what to do This is neat I'm not aware of solutions like app launcher for iPhone. NFC is still not allowed by Apple as well. There some roundabout solutions to make this working, but they are way too more complicated on iPhone.

Both the 235/45R20 and the 245/45R20 are 0.2" different from the stock 17" tires. However, when compared to the stock 19" tires the 245/45R20 is 0.1" smaller while the 235/45R20 is 0.5" smaller.
Both of these sizes would read 0.5% MPH different on the speedo from the stock 17" tires (0.3 MPH difference at 60 MPH) while the 245/50R20 would running 4.2% MPH faster than what the speedo read (2.5 MPH difference at 60 MPH)
    Overall Overall
Stock sizes Diameter 20" sizes Diameter
    225/65R17 28.5" 235/45R20 28.3"
    225/55R19 28.8" 245/45R20 28.7"
    245/50R20 29.7"
I think that is why most people end up going with the 245/45R20. It is as close as you can get to the stock OD (compared to both the stock 17" & stock 19") and there is a pretty good selection of tires in that size.
    Discount Tire has 2 options for the 235/45R20 ($170-$200), 25 options for the 245/45R20 ($140-$351) and 14 options for the 245/50R20 ($130-2$29).
I am just trying to get more of an "SUV" look to the Journey rather than the "mini-van" look that I feel it has now.
Price is another reason I am leaning toward the 245/50R20. I am considering the Falken Pro G4 AS ($131) and the Yokohama Parad Spec-X ($169).These same tires in the 245/45R20 are $160 & $187 respectively.

Didn't feel like spending $150+ on a brand name intake, but was very curious what, if anything, one would do for my 2015 DJ R/T. Haven't installed it yet (raining in San Antonio) so I just assembled and photographed it to show yous guys.
I measured the stock intake tract from the bend behind the engine to the airbox and got parts at Autozone to match the length. The cone filter SHOULD sit squarely in the bottom part of the stock airbox (with the air snorkel still attached to get fresh air to the cone filter). I'll let y'all know my impressions after I install it!

It really is a shame that you had to be treated this way. Cars and technology are evolving at breakneck speed these days and to keep up with it all is a dizzying spectre. This, coupled with the wealth of information available to us all on the Internet sometimes makes the customer more savvy than the repair facility in certain respects. Service personnel need to be open minded about these facts and listen to their customers rather than take the position that they know everything and the customer knows nothing. It is a learning experience for both parties. We as dealers have access to some proprietary information regarding the products that is not readily available to the general public. That information should be utilized to verify customer's concerns rather than to refute them, and if necessary, to dispel myths that often crop up in many of these forums so that problems can be readily resolved. There's no room for egos in this business. Hopefully you will find someone at your dealership who will empathize rather than chastise.
