    Long overdue update
Mid January, when we had some "warmer" weather, my son and I got together and retried activating the remote start function. We had to use the baseline program remote setting for his early 2011 Mainstreet, but it took and remote start now works. I have not tried any other items as I don't think the car is equipped with needed hardware for other features. It sure would be nice for some kind of user guide for how best to apply alphaobd functions to various years/models

My son is ecstatically HAPPY to have remote start for his Journey, now all that's left to complete needs on it is to get the A/C working and figure out/fix why his drivers power seat stopped working. Of course weather and his work schedule will determine how soon that will happen !

As for the programming a "hi line" for remote start....
I tried to do the same for our 2011 Mainstreet and it would not take either. I suspect that even though I added in the hood safety switch, that the car is not equipped with the rest of the stuff under the dash to activate it, thus the same message. This MAY be a case of TRIM LEVEL an owner is working with, higher trim levels may work fine having the rest of things already installed by the factory.
I also have a 2014 SXT that I did successfully program in the remote start function and followed the same steps of this car when trying to do the 2011.

A 2009 model would be the 3.5 motor if this is the V^.
Also being that old, I would bet on needing a new radiator, even though you say you flushed it.

It's funny how during winter months 45°f feels so good by comparison. Unless your in Texas. Then they act like it's a blizzard lol. Had more the one person look at me like I had a horn growing from my forehead cause I was wearing shorts and t-shirt when it was mid 40s

    2/7/24 UPDATE

All 3 Journeys are doing fine, but they all need a good wash from the mud and dust due to no snow to speak of and lack of good steady rain. Typical for farm country.
The wife bought a new $50.00 Trac Phone thru Walmart last weekend, as her OLD trac phone could not even connect to her job's wireless system. She got it all transfered and even paired it to her '13RT and LO AND BEHOLD it connects up almost instantaneously now when she gets in the car with her new phone. All the car's functions with bluetooth and phone work perfectly. I had been thinking a module problem since getting the car last summer!

Well we hit 45*f today, but going back into the freezer for the weekend......
Just got done with giving the '13 and '14 another quick rinse and wash on the wheels/arches and body. Gosh did they need it with all the mud and dust on the roads we travel the most.
Have only had about 4" of snow in the last 3 weeks! Most of which fell last Saturday but wow the winds and C O L D ! we hit 7*f Monday morning! Cars are all doing fine yet.

Lots of laughs! Such weather for good thorough cleaning!
Had 2 days last week to be worth a quick but cool wash of the '14 and '13, NO interior cleaning or such as it was only in the mid 40's ! At least they look "presentable" from a distance.
WINTER seems to finally making itself known here around me, but still not a lot of snow, just enough to say yes it snowed.

I also have been doing GOOGLE searches and saw the same, BUT it does NOT give a location for a RELAY for wipers in the 09 model year or any of the first gen Journeys. I suspect that like the fuel pump relay, It's integral to the TIPM / fuse panel circuit board and NOT replaceable.
Like many other Dodge cars of this vintage {DJ, Avenger,200, Dakota, etc.} a replacement TIPM/fuse panel is needed

To transfer ownership vehicle needs to be certified by the dealer he mentioned. Everything has to work , for 36 days I believe.
    Just bring it back.

DTR Wont come on if parking brake used and remote start is used.  Could check front yellow signal bulbs. They are two filament bulbs (like 1157 brake light)  with direction signal flash and running light on separate filaments. But are yellow coloured 1157.
Some cars use main head light bulbs on lower power feed via a separate DTR module. Journey doesn’t.

ALFAOBD can be used to turn on day time running lights feature in the ecm.  Lots of U.S. guys have done it as an extra safety item. Feature not on dash display controls, or at least not on my 2014 or daughter in laws 2012.

Can't tell from your picture, but does the car has the sunroof option? IF it does, then I'd suspect the drain lines are clogged with debris, a common issue with all factory sunroof cars.

SORRY, I need better eyes or enlarge the print size on my screen. Posted manuals are up to 2016.  Yes I now see yours is a 2018, and I'm KINDA SURE that the 2.4 in your vehicle is the tiger shark {nickname} and not the older world{nickname} motor.
A lot of SIMILARITIES, in procedures but a different cylinder head design, so yes you're going to have to find a manual for that motor.
There are many different STELLANTIS models that use this motor, and main torque specs and teardown instructions would be the same for your Journey. Only differences would probably be intake manifold  orientation.

Again sorry for my poor eyes, good luck on your big job.

Not to "dis" on you, but it sounds more like a not properly adjusted brake light switch and they did have an issue with this a few years ago. Of the 3 Journeys I have, none have exhibited such a light problem. HOWEVER on a different "venue", there could be broken wires in the rubber boot between the rear hatch and body causing a short that may keep the brake lights activated. More commonly though those with broken wires just have those corresponding lights not function....always the possibility of wires shorting together all the same.
More common of ABS/trac control being a malfunctioning wheel speed sensor.

You do have a bit of an "oddball" problem , good luck and let us know how you make out with it.

That switch is very finicky as it does more than just brakes lights, it also works the shifter lock{what you are probably hearing} and also ties in with the push to start button.
Recheck connections on the switch and may have to adjust {somehow} the plunger throw for all to work. I've not had to deal with that switch on any of the 3 DJ's I've got, so good luck to you and keep us here informed to how things go.

Same background here, I have friends yet that have their own shops and spend some time with them to keep up on things as best as able. I've even helped them out on some "perplexing" problems they've had come in.
Yes info/ DISinfo can be hard to find and put to use. Time is one "luxury"{?} I have to be able to spend on the web looking up stuff.
The TIPM/fuse panel is not easily bypassed for wiring circuitry and when multiple glitches show up, it's almost always best to find a replacement unit., the printed circuit board inside them loves to go bad with breaks or lost solder connections.

YUP, I agree with you ! AND it does not comprehend that it's been a "done deal" for 8 months and NOT just a possibility if it had scanned the whole thread of my posts here.
But I must also say that there's not much to be done about it, our moderator has asked for help and nobody has stepped up. I can barely do posts and beyond TYPING, I'm lost as to linking in photos or other info from the site to a posting....In other words I'm barely computer literate.
On a side note that we all be truthful, the '11 is now titled and insured in my son's name and resides at his home in the next town away from our home. So does this mean that I'm actually back to a 2 Journey family ? Yes I still "spearhead" the maint. work that it will require. IF he thinks something's wrong, he calls me. At least he has learned to check the oil and refill the washer tank!

I wonder if I should even bother posting anymore. ?

Well, I figured out something that helps low beam night driving.
On all the many cars I've had over the years{and there are MANY}, I had always had the dash illumination turned up pretty high. I tried turning dash lights down quite a lot on the '14 and '13 and WOW what a difference in being able to see the road on low beam setting without the fog lights also on!
My son, I found out has his dash lighting turned almost off on the '11 and says it helps him. BUT still would like better low beams or fogs installed. The '11 has the old long width lower grill, and fog housing trim panels are different than the other later year Journeys I have.
Also I finished up his "Christmas" present and got the aftermarket remote start fob activated and working with my alphaobd program today! He was VERY HAPPY and EXCITED to have that working, and says now it does not seem like just an old car anymore...it has a MODERN common feature now!    ....    LOL

Not really sure of what you are saying in the posting other than from the title of oil pressure trouble.

The engine oil pump is a 2 stage pump, unkie most other motors. It has been sort of problematic for a number of 3.6/3.2 engines. BUT it will set OBD trouble codes/ Check engine light for at least 2 different problems. Those are P06DD and P06DE
Both mean a new oil pump in the majority of cases. BUT I agree with putting in a new oil pressure sensor first.
I did not post of my own oil pump code on the forum here, but recently on my '14 Journey had the P06DE show up and immediately had the oil pump replaced. cost me almost $600. US dollars. Most of that being the cost of an OEM pump and not an aftermarket supplier.
