Kubda reacted to Milous in 2011 Dodge Journey 2nd row seat removal
Ideally, when re-installing the 2nd row seats:
Tighten all four seat track to floor fasteners to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.) in the following sequence:
    a. Front inboard bolt
    b. Front outboard bolt
    c. Rear inboard nut
    d. Rear outboard bolt
(the above procedure will result in easier fore/aft movemnet of the seats).

It is NOT a totally sealed trans! There is a tube to check and fill the trans., just not a dipstick it has a twist off cap instead. Why not look at the MANY youtube videos that are available on how to check trans oil for the 62te trans that yours and ALL 3.6 engine equipped FCA cars have.
Checking fluid level {and properly done} is the FIRST step in diagnosing your concern.

he can also use his oil dipstick that he can mark with a file to see how much fluid he has in the trans. check out youtube videos on how to correctly mark the oil dipstick as well......also hard to believe the 9yr old journey only has 28 k on it,

Front pass. seat MAY be an option or found on highest trim level. Our 14 sxt DOES NOT do such.

Kubda got a reaction from Miguel Pereira in Shocks/struts repair costs (Vancouver BC )
I took it into Canadian Tire and they told me there's nothing wrong with the struts (which is what I suspected). They were also charging a lot less, at around $1,400 CAD.

It was actually in there for the appointment so they didn't need to do the work and I thank them for their honesty.

AGM batteries are sealed so no off gassing. They are also supposedly very vibration resistant which is why they are used in ATV’ s and jet skies.

They need to be charged differently than regular lead acid, but if it came with its own charger should be fine.
Maybe cardboard over the glass front in case stuff going on top of it.
New flex panels are pretty cool, neighbor has one for camping, very convenient.

Kubda reacted to Summer Solstice in confirmation requested: Rear 12v outlet Powers down when vehicle is not running?
According to the Owner's manual for my 2016, the front power outlet is available in the ACC/RUN position. The other 2 outlets, the rear and the center console, are available in the LOCK/ACC/RUN position.

Consult your Owner's manual. Mine is on page 268-270. If you do not have one, they are available free for download on the web.

thank you yes, I got my information from the manual. I wanted to see if anyone could give me confirmation from a real-life experience (I know from Reading other threads, some people don't put a lot of faith in the manuals).

Gotcha... I had gotten the impression that it was "standard" because all of the Journeys (2012) on my dealer's lot had them, but, they all had power seats and remote start also... That explains it. I thought the storage area was kind of gimicky at first, but, now that we have it, we use it all the time. We keep our "cloth shopping bags" in there. When we go to a store, they are "handy" and easy to get to when we need them, but, out of the way when we don't.
That's why I like these forums...learn something new everyday!

My Nitro had an easy fix to all of this. The fuse for the Power Port was a two position fuse. Installed in one position, it was hot all the time. The other position, it was hot only with the key. When they come up with neat ideas like this, why can't they keep them?
