Thanks Steven. It turned out to be the perfect extra space that we needed. We wanted to move my oldest son home from school together as a family which meant keeping part of the middle seat up. If it were just myself I probably wouldn't have needed the carrier as we could have used the entire rear of the vehicle for cargo. We used the carrier for the soft stuff like clothing, soft suitcases, pillows and bedding - anything that could be squished and folded, basically. The bulky items went in the back. It was tight but it all fit, and the four of us made the trip together so for that reason alone it was worth it.
Congrats on the new topper, I'm sure it will serve you well. Post back your impressions once you've fully utilized it. I've been considering one of those for vacations but only bought the collapsible bag tote for the top so far. I'd be interesting in hearing how the hard topper works out for you.
It runs perfect too. Was at the dealer today to pickup some cans of Mopar window cleaner (the best stuff) and the sales people jumped all over me to trade it in. I declined. This baby will last me a long time.
Sure looks good! I remember when you got it! I did the same thing today - waxed and detailed my Journey. I was going to park it in the same spot that I first photographed it nearly four years ago ands see if anyone can tell the difference!
