davidmack4044 Posted May 9, 2018 Report Share Posted May 9, 2018 I have a 2013 journey crew and when the air-conditioning is turned on I get cool air on the left side and hot air on the right. Had the same problem last year and it corrected itself. Just wondered if anyone on the forum has ever encountered this problem? Thank you for any help you can give. mechanical-idiot Posted April 5, 2019 Report Share Posted April 5, 2019 Just had the same problem. It is a blend door actuator. Had to be replaced. 70 bucks for the part and 80 for labor. It started last year, fixed itself, then came back. Works like a top now. Apparently youtube has some videos on how to replace it, but I didn't have the time to do it. Also, I was afraid I would break it or something else while trying to save a few bucks. Sometimes it is easier to just get something fixed at the dealer. CE2 Posted May 6 Report Share Posted May 6 Hello, I am new to this forum. But I do have a concern with my Climate control. AC work great up front, but blows heat in the back. I didnt realize it until one day, my 2 year old kept saying he was too hot and was sweating up a storm. I checked the air and it was full blast heat on him. Seeking advise to repair. I didn't have an issue last year but all of a sudden when I turned on my AC yesterday, hot air was blowing from the passenger side and cold air on the drivers side. I'm not sure if my Warranty covers this issue.? depends on what kind of warranty you purchased and also what ded you have as mentioned the part isn't that expensive and takes about .5 hr to replace,,,as mentioned check out YouTube the part I held in with 2-3 screws just hard to reach kind of awkward try tapping it with a long screwdriver they tend to stick in the closed position P.S. it has been mentioned to only use OEM blend doors actuators instead of aftermarket/amazon parts that don't last...just a recommendation Edited May 9 by 2late4u extra info Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
