Milous got a reaction from Lobitz68 in 2015 DJ R/T Pricing:
Current invoice for what you spec is $35,112 (including destination). Dealer holdback is about $1100, getting them down to cost (~$34,000) could be a bit of a challenge, unless there are any rebates that would come into play or if the vehicle has been sitting on the lot a long time.

Unless they have Hill Start Assist, which a ton of Chrysler and other brand vehicles have. You'll probably see it on the 2016 Journey.

    The newer the better...
For the screen, p/n 5064993AI is the same for the 2011-2015 Journey.
For the radio, the part numers have changed each year, I would stay with the 2014 to best match your vehicle (68210554AE)
The suffix change on part numbers (such as AG to AH) typically signifies a minor change/update. A totally new part number is a more significant change.
2011 Radio 5091135AG superseded to AH
    2012 Radio 5091038AF superseded to / AG / AH / AI / AJ
    2013 Radio 5091367AE superseded to / AF
    2014 Radio 68210554AE (also 68210554ZE or 68210554ZH)
    2015 Radio 68240130AA
    For reference:
MSRP on the 5064993AI screen is $1410 (U.S.) and $1900 (Canada)
For some reason pricing is not listed for the 68210554AE radio. Early model year radios have listed for around $1200 (U.S.) and $2000 (Canada).

3.5L? Not sure if it will help but I have attached a pdf file for P0340 diagnostics.
    Also found this:
All model vehicles built 1/17/2008 thru 5/16/2008 equipped with a 3.5L or 4.0L engine which are setting a P0344/P0340 DTC above 3000 RPM may have a camshaft drive gear tone ring separation issue occurring. The tone ring may be completely separated from the sprocket or still attached, but not parallel to the sprocket causing runout. Inspect the camshaft drive gear tone ring for proper alignment. If the drive gear tone ring exhibits one of the two defects, then replace the component.

Never understood spending the extra $$ for a K&N filter. No power or mileage gains, and if it's supposedly less restrictive... then it has to let in more dirt.

Should be an easy fix, just release the side tabs and drop it down a bit to re-adjust, then re-seat it back in place.

    One possibility:
Symptom/Vehicle Issue: Washer Light On And/or Washer Light Will Not Go Out After Adding Washer Solvent.
Discussion: Vehicles that use a continuity prong style washer level sensor are designed to work with most alcohol based washer solvents. We have received information that some rain repellant solvents may not register properly. The rain repellant washer solvents have been found to coat the sensor tips with a residue that will not allow an accurate reading. Some of the rain repellant washer solvents are orange in color, but may not necessarily be.
If the customers complaint matches the Symptom/Vehicle Issue above, verify the washer solvent condition and color. If the solvent appears contaminated or its condition is unknown, it may be necessary to drain the reservoir and also remove and clean the washer level sensor.

Milous got a reaction from Kubda in 2011 Dodge Journey 2nd row seat removal
Ideally, when re-installing the 2nd row seats:
Tighten all four seat track to floor fasteners to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.) in the following sequence:
    a. Front inboard bolt
    b. Front outboard bolt
    c. Rear inboard nut
    d. Rear outboard bolt
(the above procedure will result in easier fore/aft movemnet of the seats).

+10 mpg, towing a heavy trailer uphill vs no trailer downhill? Sure. But sport mode, +10 mpg or anywhere near that, I say impossible. IF it were true, Dodge would sell the vehicles 'locked' into sport mode!

Milous got a reaction from rolly in Camshaft Sensor vvt 2.4l Code P000b
You have to remove the heat shield to get to the sensor (heat shield is area with bunches of small circles, loosen the long bolt that is shown above the shield).

The p/n is the same for both sensors (68080819AB). However, the diagnostics for P000B do not at all involve changing the sensor...
The diagnostics procedure is complex, but here are the solutions listed in order of probability of cause:
    ENGINE OIL DIRTY OR CONTAMINATED
    INCORRECT ENGINE OIL VISCOSITY
ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR OR CIRCUIT
ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR OR CIRCUIT
(F344) FUSED ASD/MAIN RELAY OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN OR SHORTED
(K276) VVT EXHAUST CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN OR SHORTED
    VVT EXHAUST SOLENOID
    CAMSHAFT 1/2 PHASER
IMPROPER ASSEMBLY OF CAMSHAFT/CRANKSHAFT TIMING CHAIN AND SPROCKETS
HIGH FRICTION IN CAMSHAFT OR OTHER VALVETRAIN COMPONENTS
    POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM)

Not sure if this will work, but maybe worth a shot. Fold the 40% seat flat. On the side of the armrest, at the bottom, there is a plastic access cover that you should be able to pry off. Remove the fastener and see if that allows enough slack/wiggle movement in the armrest to get behind it or release it. The rear latch release is in the center, a few inches down from the top.

Milous got a reaction from jkeaton in 2014 AWD SXT Plus Questions
At $25,993 it's a terrible deal, hopefully you were not thinking about paying the asking price on a used vehicle. Dealers have a HUGE mark-up on late-model used vehicles. And it's not too difficult to figure out approximately what they paid for it - something that always should be researched. In this case, the vehicle you are looking at has a trade-in value of $18k-$20k, and you can bet that the dealer most likely got it on the lower side of that range. Offer them $21k MAXIMUM and not a penny more. No deal, walk away. I've recently see brand new loaded Limited's (w/nav) for under $30k, just a few thousand more than what the dealer is asking for the used SXT.
Also, the vehicle does not have navigation/rear camera, personally I would never buy a vehicle without these features, they may not be important to you. I'd look around some more. With the rebates and discounts I would shop for something brand new as I think you will easily find something in the price range you are looking at.
Something else to consider when buying a vehicle - most buyers focus on what options a particular vehicle HAS, but you also should take note of what options it does NOT have and determine if you can live without them. A great document to have for comparing options is the dealer order guide which lists all of the standard features, options and pricing. If you want one for the Journey just send me a PM with your email address.
