So the dealership ripped my glove box out

Had the 2012 Journey in for oil and also to listen to a weird noise. Realized halfway home that the glovebox was not closing. Upon further inspection it seems that it is off track. Not really sure, I cannot get it to disengage from the dash, but it will not latch either. I have a call in with them.

Not really sure why they needed in the glove box to change the oil.

Yeah, I am not much of a car expert, but if the oil goes in the glovebox, then I have been doing it wrong lol!

I just found the owners manuel online and I saw that you have to remove the glovebox to check the interior airfilter. I have a feeling that is what they did and whoever reinstalled it just slamed it shut and walked away. Oh well, It is going back in for an axel replacement Saturday (clunking noise in above) so hopefully they will fix it then.

I am glad we bought the lifetime warranty they offered us!

I bought the extended warranty also. Maybe your gloves need to be oily before you put them in the glove box!

My Nitro had an interior air filter, but it was located under the glove box. And, the Nitro was designed before the DJ - a case of reverse engineering!
