At stop light on a slope!

Is it normal to sit at a stop sign on a hill without your foot on the brake? No, it is not... All cars will roll back to some degree on a hill. The DJ idles very low, presumably for fuel efficiency, hence it may roll back more than a vehicle with a higher idle. I bet you don't notice it at all with a cold engine (and thus higher idle).

Now you know why they're developing cars that drive themselves! As the Scarecrow said " If I only had a brain".

I'm really enjoying my new Crossroads, but one thing has popped up. If I'm going up a hill, slight upward slope and have to stop at the intersection, my Crossroad will roll backward unless I keep my foot on break. Is this normal?

Sorry Ray, it's not a Mercedes, it's just a Dodge.
