    Newest Jeep!

Yesterday, I stopped for gas and a guy came over to me to ask if this was the newest Jeep! I said no, it's a Dodge. He walked around my DJ, looking really hard at it and remarked Dodge/Jeep they're all the same! Same rear reflectors in the bumper as a GC, but that's about all they have in common, except for the Pentastar!
  3. The C/S reps @ Uconnect are useless. Great suggestion, but I would be talking over their heads with it! I'm not calling them anymore. I'll try and see if I can fix this myself.
  4. I had to replace mine @ 1.5 years.
  5. I wrote what I did because it doesn't hurt to try. Trying to get any help from Uconnect is a waste of time. BTW, Uconnect severed ties with Gracenote. This is why no art displays for any music released in/after 2011.
  6. Mine is far from stock now! Compulsive!
  7. My Nitro had a tow/haul switch. It changed the shift points, and kept it from shifting into OD. Might be a good idea to keep it in 5.
  8. Just purchased a complete set of Weathertech; all three rows and the cargo mat. Got them in light gray to brighten up my interior. If someone is close by and wants the Black Mopar mat they can have it!
  9. These are just black stickers and are fairly inexpensive. you could just replace them.
  10. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Who could that be?
  11. You can pry it up on either small end.
  12. The switch unit pulls straight up. It is held in by metal friction clips. Use a small plastic panel removal tool to pry it up. Otherwise, use a small flat blade screw driver. I'm not sure how to take it apart to access the the switch buttons.
  13. AWD would only kick in for stability for going around corners, unless he was driving on a slippery surface.
  14. All Uconnect would tell me is that Album Art MUST be a JPEG. However, Uconnect will not recognize any art from 2011 on. When I get some time, I'm going to go down the list of all art on my SD card, and write down the ones that are missing. I'll scan in the actual CD cover, and save it as a JPEG, and see if I can replace this art with what is already on WMP. Then I'll erase the SD Card, and copy WMP back on it and see if that solves the missing art issue.
  15. Yes, some are air cooled, with fins like a heat sink.
  16. Welcome. As stated, 2500 max if you have the Trailer Tow Group. This number steadily decreases as you add passengers and luggage. Buy a Jet Ski! LOL
  17. The tow package consists of the oil cooler, a wire harness that terminates by the spare tire, and a harness with a bunch of relays that plugs into the harness that terminates by the spare. You have to buy and install the hitch, install the harness with all the relays and then have the Dealer activate the trailer lights. For some reason, my DJ came with the oil cooler and the harness that terminates by the spare. The Trailer Tow Group was not listed on my window sticker. I found the correct harness with the relays on eBay and purchased a Mopar hitch. This is the most Mickey Mouse Trailer Tow Package that I have ever seen! Oh, and because I have a Crossroad, the Mopar hitch is listed as not fitting! Go figure. I guess it wouldn't hurt to get an aux trasmission cooler, but I would definitely look into the engine oil cooler. It fits between the filter housing and the block and is water cooled.
  18. I am in hopes that either Android or Apple Play can be retrofitted to our existing radios. It seems it would be simple to swap out the existing radio box, if the software can not be updated. Time will tell. You could always use your phone with Google Maps or Waze, and just skip the built in Nav. Uconnect is still not up to speed for messaging with iOS. What are they waiting for? It may be easy to use, but it is no where up to date IMHO.
