Tiffany Nincehelser Morse

Recently my USB port quit charging my phone. I thought it was the cord, but found the cord works fine. Is there a fuse or something that may have blown? I really dread going to the dealer for this since they are usually clueless and not sure if it would be covered under my warranty.
