Windows Tinted
apellefigliodapollo replied to fmjcafe's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
In Italy tinting front windows is illegal too -
You have the Crossroad so you have OEM metallic trims on the outside, that looks good i would not add wood on the inside because of the titanium trim going across the dash but is just my personal sake anyway... can't wait to see the result of your work!

Leave the black tape on! if it fades or cracks, just remove it and wrap the pillar posts with one of a million wrapping tapes on the market (carbon look i suggest!) i think it's cheaper than the oem replacement tape

i've changed oem fog lamps with PSX24W led lamps from Aliexpress they look fine, white and brighter you just have to cut a trim on the side of the plastic base. Very simple...20 seconds whith a cutter

ok... in the U.S. you have big roads and big parking lots... in Italy the giant Dodge Durango would be very hard to drive in our cities anyway, the pourpose of the Journey is having a FOLDABLE third row in a non-giant car

LED Headlight Bulbs
apellefigliodapollo replied to hockey_puck's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
a good xenon kit costs... 80-100 bucks? in my opinion these led bulbs are, at the moment, too much expensive anyway, i'm curious as heck to see them on! -

nice job man but... probably i'm missing something... how can you flash with highbeams during the day? (you know... when on a highway you meet an old man, driving with his hat on, on the left lane, at 10 mph... the highbeams are useful to say "get the f**k ou of my way you d**n a*****e in morse code ) i mean, it seems that you can use the high beams only when the headlights are on Am I wrong?

Rear Fog Lights
apellefigliodapollo replied to dhh3's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
in Italy the red "fog light" in the rear is mandatory, and very useful in foggy days so. It's correct: It's not to help you see, it's to be seen. On Fiat Freemont there're 2 rear fog lights -
ANY UPDATE?!

LED Headlamps
apellefigliodapollo replied to RedeyeJedi's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
Yes they're annoying (!) and likely to dazzle so they're even dangerous for upcoming drivers on the other side -
yes it will pass washing and road chips plastidip is very resistent if correctly applied
