I have a Samsung S5 active android. While driving I can listen to the text I cannot view it while in motion, same with texting I can't send a text on the 8.4 while in motion. And yes I get a text notification while in motion with the option to listen or view.
You should be able to send a text while in motion as long as it is one of the predetermined responses. Mine works. It tacks "Sent from my Dodge" on the end of my message though and all of my buddies will reply to that with long lists of swear words because they think it funny when I listen to it and the uConnect girl cusses me out. For that reason I rarely send texts through the system. That, and I find very little use for the responses you can choose from.

My Samsung is one of the nicest phones I've owned over the past 19 years. It has never given me a single bit of trouble. I'm glad I bought it and would buy another in a heartbeat.

Mine are in toront about 8 hours away. My guess Friday I'll have them. Doing a retro to my fogs with my old 6.0
Please document this as best you can. I am very interested in seeing how it goes down. Do you think there is room?

If you didn't pay extra to insure it, you aren't finna get updates... Sucks, but I just rolled the dice on that one.

Pretty much, they're a large step above the 6.0. Some have said they're at or above MD2S (I haven't seen comparison shots), in the H1 form factor. I chose MH1 instead of MD2S since MD2S is just large enough to require sinking in the Journey headlight in order to fit right. MH1 doesn't, so it should be simple enough to mount and aim.
I haven't received my projectors yet. Either Michigan is far enough away to require more delivery time (friend near Boston received his MD2S for his Avenger already) or USPS is a screw-up... still... hopefully they're on my doorstep when I get home today or tomorrow. When they do, I'll check output as I go through each unit testing for function, shield actuation, and cutoff sharpness before they get put away until February. Holidays and the cruise in January are taking up my money so I won't be able to buy aftermarket headlights for these cars until then lol.
That sucks... I got mine several days ago.

And?
And nothing... didn't realize I wasn't allowed to agree with you. My bad.

I honestly wasn't expecting a huge number of people to be interested as most people on this forum are not "enthusiast", but just owners... But, I thought it was worth a try (who wouldn't want to save a buck?!).
For those of you that think any bulb is going to perform like this, you have absolutely lost your mind. The stock housing throws light everywhere and unless you get crazy bright bulbs they are simply too dim to be beneficial. These housings provide an insane amount of light (you could use these as headlights if it weren't illegal) that is delivered in a wide, saturated beam on the ground in front of the vehicle. The beam also has a crisp cutoff as to avoid throwing the light everywhere and blinding everyone else. for the cost of these housings (even without the discount) you couldn't touch them performance wise with anything else that is available on the market. Period.
I guess I'll give this thread a bit longer and just place my order; looks like my original suspicions were right on...

Been there done that ! Dropped off family to arena (how can a goalie forget his pads ?). Drove 3 miles home, luckily realized no key fob in pocket and did not shut off car, Bound to happen again. Undecided if this is a good or bad feature.
Ha! That's a LOT of equipment to forget...
Never had this happen to me, I tend to keep the keys on my person. No need to remove them from my pocket.

Hey guys! LED fog lights seem to come up on the forum quite a bit, and I am in the market to buy some, so I thought I'd check with The Retrofit Source to see if we could put together a group buy on their Morimoto XB LED fogs. These aren't cheap LED bulbs to put into your housing, it is a completely separate Dodge specific housing outfitted with authentic Phillips Luxeon LED bulbs that produce 1200 lumens per side (2400 lumens total!). The LEDs are projector style and provide a wide, saturated flood light with a sharp cutoff that blows the OEM "lights" out of the water.
Group Buy Details:
- Full price - $170
- 10 pairs = 10% discount - $153
- 15 pairs = 15% discount - $145
- 20 pairs = 20% discount - $136
- 25 pairs = 25% discount - $128
Product details: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/complete-headlight-fog-light-housings/morimoto-xb-led-fog-lights-dodge.html#.VmIFJrgrK00
I have no affiliation with this company beyond being a happy customer, I'm simply looking for a deal on some amazing projector LED fog lights.
For more details about timing and such, private message me and I will answer your questions.
Fingers crossed their are others who want a set!

Successful BIG BRAKE upgrade on 2011 Crew
in Brake, Chassis & Suspension

Stock 17's will fit. The clearance between the wheel and the larger brakes is minimal... Looking at it, one would wonder why they even bothered with 17's.
