I have had great success with them on heavy vehicles. I would avoid Drilled ones though...

Not really no lol, product I used was the light diffuser you would see in apartments or offices. Poped put the amber reflector. Used a heat gun cause the oem reflector has a slight bend. Just a simple trace and cut.
Cool, thanks!

I got smashed from. Girl who ran a stop sign, first rental was a grandcherokee ( beautiful) and the second was a charger2015 rallye. It sucked ass sure it looks cool but my journey is better.on gas and a much smoother ride. But since I drove the limited grandcherokee I want one haha. Wish the dj was available in a v8
Was looking at one of these while I had mine in for the ABS recall... Gorgeous.

If you are talking about a "running light bar", similar to what is on the KIT2000 car (remember that TV show?), then I would get a simple 12 volt relay, splice the relay into the hot line for one of the headlights, hook the led bar to the output side and then draw the power from the fuse box or the battery. The relay won't draw enough current to affect the output of the headlight, but, it will switch the light bar on when the headlights have power. Some states frown on the use of "display lights" used in general driving and I don't know of any states that allow high power off-road light bars in general use that is why I'm assuming that you are talking about a "display light"...depending on your state you might be able to get away that (similar to the "ground effect" lights). I would still put an on/off switch in the power feed to the light bar, just in case.

This is an oil level code I assume, based on jkeaton's reply? Was the light blinking?? This is probably the easiest indicator to tell you whether or not it is okay to drive the vehicle (and it should state this in your OWNER'S MANUAL). If the light is blinking, turn off the vehicle immediately. If it is a solid light, get it checked ASAP, but it is okay to drive the vehicle in the meantime. I would agree that this is probably a faulty sensor, but make sure your oil level is correct.

Well done. How did you do the clear corner reflector lens?
Material from home depot
Care to expand? Got a link to a process, or a process name I can refer to in a search?

This is what you want for performance.

In Alabama its a free for all with lights. We do what we want. There aren't any inspections or stuff like that.
Just because it isn't enforced doesn't mean there aren't laws...

actually according to Bill @ AE, the option codes are already "built" into the system so no fees necessary to obtain codes from MTA
Just wish I could find some RECENT reviews on this tool and AE is no help there either. I would think with a tool like this you'd be looking to have helpful, unbiased reviews to promote your products if they do what they say they do.
maybe offer to review it for them in exchange for a discounted price???

Or, because you can stop and the yokel behind you can't, you may cause an accident by having snows .. . . . it goes both ways.
I used to go to Waseca where the company I worked for had a facility. I remember how cold and windy it always was in February - it made me pine for home, where it was only -20.
Waseca, MN?? That's in southern MN where it's fairly warm in the winter!
You have a point on getting rear ended, I guess my point was that it MAY help me to avoid an accident by providing more traction to stop or by making it harder to lose control performing some maneuvers. Either way, assuming I drive to the conditions (which I do), they are more helpful than not. Of course we still don't have any snow that has stuck around this year. They did perform great last night when the temp dropped quickly and the roads by my house in the burbs were like an ice rink.

I ended up tweaking how the front ends, now instead of a point it ends in a similar shape as the end of the graphic. I personally wouldn't ideally have the graphic end like that either but someone keyed my ride from fender to fender and this graphic covers without making it look like I'm intentionally covering something.
that sucks...

I don't recall whether I have written about this on the board before, but the reality is that snow tires, while they do help, likely cause more problems than they solve for some because people who can't drive in snow install winter tires and then feel emboldened to go out and slide all over the place, in particular those with AWD and 4wd systems...
You have... Either that or someone else told me the exact same story one time.
This year is the first year that I have bought snow tires. I drive according to the weather, but with all of the driving we do in the winter, it doesn't hurt to have a little extra assurance. Certainly people have been safely driving on snow fore dozens of years without them, but my biggest concern during the winter is other drivers. If they help shave 10 feet off of my stopping distance and prevent an accident, then they were worth every penny.

HID!
NO!!! Not in the fogs please....

The 2 row version does have a lot more floor storage... I have thought about this too, but mostly because I have NEVER used the third row and would love the extra storage. I think you can just replace the floor, though the 2 row does have the option for a cargo cover. In order to get the cover I believe you would need to replace the side panels in the rear as well.

These things get great mileage... I do a lot of in town driving and drive in a fairly aggressive manner, and I hit 24 mpg combined in the summer and 20 mpg combined in the winter like clockwork (keep in mine winter fuel blends and winter tires are eating some mileage). That's way better than my Ram was getting and close to what my wife's Avenger gets.

Do you have another dealer nearby? That seems a little higher than I've seen.
Also, if you just bought 2 vehicles from the same dealer, I would contact the sales manager and tell him you had to add something to the vehicle and would like a courtesy update. Seems like an hour of labor could be comp'd pretty easily...especially since it won't take anywhere near that long to do. Butter him/her up a little; I bet it works.

Ok. So I just need a capacitor. I think I have one lying around.
I believe that is the only difference. I don't know how the canbus part plays with the Dodges though. The capacitor should be wired into the "in" side of the relay. It's a decent size relay though, what do you have laying around?

oh the steering wheel buttons will switch it...but when the truck is shut off and restarted it wont remember the setting
Correct. As bramfrank said you need to change the setting using the stereo display.
