I've just noticed on my 2014 journey 2.4l on the driver's side a loose cable on the floor with a red connector. well I connected it back to the only pug hanging out next to the old port, n now I got a blue blinking light with some sort of phone icon on it which it never blinked before. anyone know ?

would it be possible to test starter an how ? what bout the push start button? or the cps ?

good evening, I as will is having same issues like markfs33 is having on the exact same 2014 dodge journey 2.4L 86,000miles on it. took mine to AutoZone to get battery check out at first an they told me it had a bad battery so I purchased a new one, but it still does the same randomly start no crank issue but all interior lights on. I've check my relay fuses n placed my fingers to hear n feel the clicks on them but it just won't engage like when we first bought it. after a couple of tries it starts.

it's ur electronic throttle body.. it either dirty or need to be replaced.

resently changed out both thermos out of my 2014 2.4L with 84kmiles and my ect sensor because of code p0118…after replacing everything back , started it up an now I got a constantly drop coming from the bottom close to trans pan but when a/c is turned on only...somebody help

Yes ,i would get the same codes before changing out oem part , now that i installed the new part ,(which i bought off carparts.com) remaufacterd part it still having same code. [Checkenginelightcode2173,blinking red lightning bolt,tractioncontol off warning light on dash]

Ended up taking it to mechanic down the block,he placed smoketest to search for vacuum leak and said it didnt had none. So went on to diagnose the checkengine light n yes throttle was reprogram n they cleared the codes. Drove back home good. Next morning, same problem,check engine light is back, red lightning bolt blinking, n traction control light is on. Im wondering if the throttle body could be defective,maybe? Should i just change it again myself n see if the problem goes away? HELP??‍♂️

How can i check ✅ if the throttle body butterfly plate is Opening n responding to pedal pressed down? Any ideas

Where can i find a good pic of manifold assembly to see where vacuum connect

Thanks john, but plug look ok.. was think bout changing out gasket from manifold bit 1st search for that vacuum leak. But where exactly can i spray carb cleaner to see where leak is.

Thanks buddys ..maybe i need to change that gasket on the manifold cause that same code keeps coming out n my lighting bolt /traction light comes on n disappear suddenly too. Might just take it to mechanis n get better diagnostics on my 14dodgejourney 2.4L

Thanks john, I'll be trying that spraying carb around to look for leaks. Would that make the traction light come on as well and sudden lightingbolt light too. Hope its just a vacuum leak ????

Ive got that same issue as well going on with my 2014 journey 2.4l engine. Ive changed out throttle body with new part now i get a obdcode p2173(vaccum leak)in which ive check an non are present, now i get the traction light coming on too. What could be the problem??? Help ASAP??

I got the same code after installing new throttle body, could it be the gaskets on the manifold? Is it a simple tasks to do or not ...
