Rgwog got a reaction from OhareFred in How to play DVD in front display while driving!
Uh, no. its not free. You have to buy the lockpick and install it. Unless you ask for it for Christmas!

Rgwog reacted to dhh3 in Has the 2016 redesign been pushed back?
Last I read, Alfa is in the process of introducing a midsize car, bigger that the one that the Cherokee, Dart and 200 are based on. This is a RWD car, with the option of AWD. The next DJ and Avenger will be based on this chassis. This crap changes monthly. I also read where Chrysler keeps the minivan but also gets a X-over. Remember, the Pacifica rode on the minivan chassis, so it is possible that Chrysler can sell both. If this is true, the DJ will be a bad boy little brother to the Durango. Time will tell.

Ha ha. Yea, A lot of Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda there. And apparently still nothing in there. Just going to be a wait and see, I suppose.

I have noticed on the Dodge web site and local dealers sites, that they are selling 2016 journeys that are not the new redesign. Did I miss something or have they pushed back the unveiling of the redesign?

Rgwog reacted to 2late4u in Removed rear resonators
what is 3.75 tips???? and it prob. would or could void your warranty if a problem comes up with your journey.. not worth the chance i would think

Rgwog reacted to davea180 in Removed rear resonators
Is this on a 2014? Wouldn't doing something like this affect your warranty? Also, I would think the loss of backpressure would affect factory set system specs. in the engine and emission controls.

Can you guys find any pictures of the 2016 DJ SRT? I've tried googling but can't find any more pictures of the awesome looking concept. Looks sick!

I wish bluetooth was standard. With laws becoming even more stringent on the use of cell phones while driving, you'd think the automakers would make it standard on all models.

Rgwog reacted to Tanbam in 8.4 upgrade fault Q?
Nope, though I've seen some valiant efforts. Someone on another forum added all of the required sensors, but Chrysler refused to add the sales code to his car to turn it all on.
These vehicles aren't "ours" as much as we'd like to think they are...

If you post the last eight digits of your VIN, I will try adding the correct sales code for DRL's. On my 2013 Crew, the Sales Code is LMK. If I'm able to do it from here, then you will have to take your vehicle back to the dealer for what is called a "restoration" which is a process where the dealer's computer scans all the modules in your vehicle, sees the new sales code and enables the feature accordingly. Then all you have to do is enable it in your menu screen on the radio and they will work. You can enable/disable the feature as you wish.
Going to get some shut-eye now, Rolly...

Rgwog got a reaction from Journey_SeXT in Where do you lot place your GPS on the Dodge Journey?
I use the sandbag mount for my Garmin and sit it on the smooth spot right on top of the dash in the middle. Never had any problems with sliding or falling off.

Rgwog reacted to Lobitz68 in Ebay backup camera for $50 installed
Ha! Do you cover your plates when you drive around town too? Not trying to be a smart ass (okay, yes I am), but your license isn't exactly a private number.... Just saying. However, it is certainly your choice not to show the pic (though I'd like to see it too).

Rgwog reacted to Journey_SeXT in Ebay backup camera for $50 installed
Damn, I wasn't even thinking about your plate#....I was just curious of the size of camera in comparison to the size of our Journey. Now when I read my earlier request again it does come off as real creepy. Sorry if it sounded that way cskmom. I was just curious because a while back at a Costco parking lot I saw a back up camera on a car and it was quite large in size.....you definitely couldn't walk past it without noticing it. The link does show the camera but not on the vehicle. I do see they have other back up cameras with a bit more of a sleek design but not sure if I want to have any extra equipment along with the GPS.
Couple of questions....does the camera turn off automatically when you shift to drive or do you have to turn it off manually from the rear view mirror? And does the rear view mirror screen also act as a mirror when turned off? Thanks.

Rgwog reacted to Rubberdude88 in Loud squealing noise cold start.
Serpentine belt. The rubber can trap moisture, freeze then when you start it squeals for the first couple of revolutions. May also be loose - may need tightened. You can also buy a belt dressing that will lubricate the belt but I would check the tightness first. Cheers.
