  1. In case anyone is interested. US sourced projectors I found on E Bay. Cheaper than the stuff from China. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pair-Black-Projector-Headlights-w-LED-Halogen-Ver-2009-2014-Dodge-Journey-/291528228149?fits=Year%3A2014|Make%3ADodge|Model%3AJourney&hash=item43e06fbd35&vxp=mtr HP
  2. Not the best. The Metro Vac, Master Blaster is a car dryer that puts out a much stronger jet of air than a leaf blower for drying and that air is filtered too. Bought one a couple months ago and I love it. https://www.metrovacworld.com/Air_Force_Blaster_Industrial_MB-3IND/overview

    HOT Summer

Been a warm summer here on the Canadian Prairie this year too. More humidity than normal, and temps in the 30's (90f). Last night, some rather large tornado's touched down in south west Manitoba that came up from North Dakota (they were getting it too). We've been lucky that we've had some rain this year as other areas are very dry.
  4. Moosehead? That's horsepi$$! We have a local beer called Fort Garry Dark Ale. Yum. HP
  5. I stumble a bit after 4 (Canadian) beers! H.P.
  6. That could get very kinky!
  7. Update. Replaced. While doing my usual wander through the showroom to see whats new and drool all over a Hellcat, I noticed on the window sticker of a 200, that they now list the 8.4 radio/nav made by Harman. Looks like they've changed suppliers from Panasonic. Tried to find out what they replaced mine with but couldn't find out. H.P.
  8. http://www.sfgate.com/weird/article/Driver-reportedly-using-vibrator-when-Mini-6384264.php Distracted driving can be dangerous! H.P.
  9. That's cause you've been drinking that home brew again! H.P.
  10. Aww Crap! Happened to me today. The day I needed directions. Guess who'll be at the dealer when it opens @ 7 am.. H.P.
  11. Then people might think he's from Alabama
  12. Suspension on a bike is for sissies. BTW, it's an older Rocky Mountain Vertex. Decals worn/fallen off over the years.
  13. Almost there! Next March I'll get my very first government issued pension cheque. (spelled correctly for you southern types) In The Great White North, we can get our first of two pensions at age 60. Then I'll have attained my goal.
  14. Exactly how life should be. Clean car, muddy mountain bike. In the muck for 2 hrs 45 minutes. Summer is grand!
  15. Years ago I bought a bunch of 2L bottles on sale, and kept them in the plastic tray they are transported to the store in, into the shopping cart. Cashier didn't notice and got out of the store with that tray. Very handy when I go to get soda as I take it with me and keep in the back of the car. Bring the bottles out loose in the cart and put them in the (stolen) tray. Me bad.
  16. Canadian "poop bombers" coming to Alabama this winter!
  17. My garage is also a workshop, thus insulated and a 5kw, 220 volt roof mounted heater. Lots of power tools, but no table saw as they are just too big. An 8 horse Craftsman Snowblower that'll chew your legs off if need be. And an old Honda Lawn Mower. I park the Journey on a G-Floor ribbed mat so the snowmelt water drains out the big door. Keeps the rest of the floor cleaner in winter. My newest toy is one of those Metro Vac Master Blaster car dryers. Have yet to run another line from the panel into the garage, as it draws 18 amps on high power.
  18. Stupid me. Forgot to take the key fob out of a pocket. Went through a full cycle. It's really clean! And it still works!!! I've gone out to buy lottery tickets. H.P.
  19. Ahh, but you do have interesting people in Walmart! http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/category/location/al/ Your pic in here? H.P.
  20. After a super nice Saturday, the monsoon started today with cold gale force wind. Nothing to do before the hockey game on TV so I waxed big red in a comfy garage. Now I can't go out as I'll get it dirty!
  21. Leaf Blower? Not even close compared to the air this thing moves. It's got two 4 hp motors. 1st one gives a nice hard breeze out the nozzle. Kick in the 2nd motor and it's like a cat 5 hurricane. Made like a brick. Real high end stereo equipment beyond what I have is useless to me as am hearing impaired. Bloody old age.
  22. Some people buy new headlights. Or subwoofers. Or whatever. I bought a Metrovac Masterblaster for drying my Journey. My neighbours now really think I'm nuts.
  23. I just passed the 1 year anniversary too! Have had no warranty work done other than a new battery in a key fob. Nothing. I've never had a car/minivan this good.
  24. We do ours at any insurance agent.
