  1. The AVP (us) and CVP (Canada) models aren't tinted glass. If by tinted, you mean dark. And it's only on the rear doors, 3rd row, and gate glass.
  2. The uConnect Bluethoot is its OEM seperate module. It's not built into any of the radios. You'll need a bunch of wiring, the rear view mirror, snd steering wheel switches. Btw, the 2012 screen is dark red, the 11s were blue.

  4. I have the lock pick with the 8.4. Works fine, and allows for more cams, and use on command. AND you can use ANY cam you want.
  5. Thank you guys. I'm at the dealer now. Called Chrysler, they are doing a "good will warranty extension". So it'll be covered. Btw since I called and now, I put on 500 miles. So now I'm at 36600. Dealer of course tried to use that against me. Overall, this dealer is ok though.
  6. Same here. Over BT, on the 8.4, you can only skip ahead w/pandora. No track info. i(Phone 4.) I can't do anything over USB, only charge. I think my cable is damaged. It says no audio found.
  7. If the problem showed up when you put on these new tires, then that's likely the problem. You can balance a tire all you want, but they might not be true round. From sitting all winter maybe. Check your lug nuts also.

  10. My grand caravan is just out of basic warranty. 36434 miles. I have an apt to check a shifter issue. (Eng wont start 40% of time unless I put it in neutral) HORRIBLE tranny since their so called tranny recall. And a bad wheel pressure sensor. Anyways, my issue is that I've had these for about 1-2k miles. But I've been extremely busy, and I really don't want to have to pay. The guy over the phone didn't make any promises of any conclusions, but I think I'll hear "it's out if warranty" and on top of that, my apt is next Wednesday. (More miles) Is there something I could do? I had actually made an apt at 34k miles, but had to miss it. Too busy, and my dealer likes to keep cars all day long.
  11. I don't believe it's required. If you're concerned with your injectors being dirty. Get a fuel injector cleaner from the auto parts store, and pour it in every 30k miles. (-15$) Most cars go over 150k with out ever needing fuel injector cleaning.
  12. I could be wrong.. But the dodge kit is not like the factory set up, where it interconnects with the OEM uConnect. Your best bet Is to go aftermarket. Or headrest monitors. For 1k$, best buy will install anything you want and they'll know what fits with sunroof. One more thing, if your car didn't come with the overhead DVD, it didn't come with the required wiring. You'd need the harness that goes from the radio to the roof, to do the retrofit.
  13. Regarding the single sub question. Yes. There's only one sub in the back. Idk how loud it's supposed to be, but a few people on here have mentioned, that its weak.

  15. Unfortunately, you already admitted involvement when you exchange insurance info. That's going to be hard to disprove at this point. Contact a lawyer, caused seems like you're going to have to fight this case.
  16. Why isnt this part, also under warranty coverage? The drive train (engine, tranny, transaxle) has s much longer warranty than the standard bumper to bumper.
  17. The caravan feels "Peepy-er" than the v6 DJ. Atleast in FWD vs AWD. Yes, it's an a intoxicating excess. I live for highway on ramps. 👍👍 I have to add that since they did the transmission recall, it's sifting like shit. Shifted great b4.
  18. Is your DJ a Canadian model? The US DJs don't have the DRL activated from factory. It needs a very complicated conversation with the dealer techs to convince them to activate them. The radio issue seems like its a known issue. The radio update TSB should take care of it.
  19. Lift the car Once in the air, put the car in D. Do the wheels start to roll? I've no, try turning the wheels by hand. Roll? If yes, you're in N. if no, the tranny is jammed locked. - find s tranny shop. The dealer will kill you on this repair.
  20. In the US, and Canada, the DJ is only available eith the 2.4 i4, or the 3.5 & 3.6 v6. I believe that your engine might be a Dodge Avenger engine. You could try those forums to get better details on engine repairs. But if you need just s catalyc converter. Try googling it for that engine size, they should run less than 200$.
