DodgeCares got a reaction from dhh3 in 2012 Journey Sxt Electronic Stability Control
As suggested above, I would recommend bringing your vehicle back to the dealership. I would definitely also mention that this concern just popped up after the vehicle was previously in for service, as it may simply be something they forgot to do and be a quick fix.

DodgeCares got a reaction from dhh3 in Cruise control not working
Hi Carrie Peavey,
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this concern. What is the longest your dealership has kept your vehicle when attempting to diagnose it? With an intermittent issue like this, they may need to hang onto it for a longer period of time in order to duplicate the concern.

DodgeCares got a reaction from dhh3 in Cruise control not working
patelajit,
There is a TSB that may apply to your issue. TSB# 08-010-14.
If your software level is below 14.02, you may need to upgrade that first. If this TSB does indeed pertain to your cruise control issue, the repair involves upgrading the software for the Steering Column Control Module. I have a screenshot of the TSB attached below.

DodgeCares reacted to KS2002 in Considering a 2013 Journey
Finally! The Journey came in and this one was not damaged during transport nor did it have any other damage. We thoroughly checked out the vehicle history and the vehicle. We drove it home last night! So, it is ours. The storm grey pearl coat is gorgeous!
And, we purchased the extended warranty as well as gap coverage. We are always ridiculously over warrantied and insured on everything we own, but knew the one time we didn't purchase it that something would go wrong.
Thank you for all of you input and advice. Love how it drives so far. It has a bit more power than my older 4 cylinder SUV and the brakes are much more sensitive, which is a good thing. I can't wait to sit in it and figure out all the buttons.

Congrats KS. After reading your post, it gave me a lot of insight. My wife and I were test driving a few DJs recently, and came across a similar situation. The one we really liked and wanted to get had quite a few small problems with it. We decided to pass on it, but took a 2013 R/T out for a test drive that the dealer had just got a couple of days ago. A very smooth ride. We did the vehicle check, and it wasn't in any accidents or anything. We totally lucked out in going that day to test drive Journeys when we came across this one.
My wife's cousin does the car detailing at the dealership we are purchasing it from, and she is working on it today. Chances are, we will be picking up the vehicle after work today! We can't wait!

DodgeCares got a reaction from jkeaton in brake issues, remote start
Hi Shawna,
As jkeaton and Lobitz68 recommended, you should bring your vehicle back to the FCA dealership and try to ride with them in order to show them your concern directly. Also, as bigtsr said, the remote start system may not work if your fuel tank is low. I would have the dealership take a look at that as well because there are multiple possibilities as to why your remote start may have shut down:
Low fuel lamp on or at fuel level of telltale lamp on.
Low Voltage below 11 V
High Voltage above 16 V
Key in Ignition
Doors or hood are opened before remote unlock
Hazard Switch depressed
Panic or theft alarm active
Brake applied
A prior remote start cranked the engine , but failed to start the engine
Battery voltage NOT in the normal range
High (run away) or Low Idle (stall) RPM
MIL Active
High Engine Coolant Temperature
Low Engine Oil Pressure
Remote start allows a maximum of two starts per ignition off cycle; cycling the ignition resets

DodgeCares got a reaction from Potlicquor in panic alarm
Hi groundhog,
Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your concern.
There are a couple of TSBs that may apply to your concerns. One deals with alarm sensitivity triggered by the dome lights (TSB# 08-002-11) and the other deals with the alarm intermittently going off for no reason (TSB# 08-009-12). I have screengrabs of those TSBs attached below.
Also, following up on bigtsr’s comment, I can check for outstanding recalls and RRTs as well if you PM me your VIN.
Hope this helps! Keep us posted.
