Took my 2009 R/T (3.5 V6) in to see about a few things and the check engine light reported an issue with the EGR sensor. I've found talk about the EGR valve and how it sometimes sticks and throws the light, but is there a difference? Also if I choose to replace the EGR valve assembly myself is there anything that has to be done with the computer? Flash? Firmware? or anything else that might require the dealership to perform the work?? Thanks guys and gals in advance for your help.

Has anyone else come across this issue...during colder mornings (anything below 8 degrees Celsius) upon first starting my car I have no AM/FM sound...there is sound for the CD, Sirius and GPS but not the radio. You then have to restart the car one or two times and it works. Pretty consistent issue each morning. I've had it in to the dealer twice...the first time they couldn't find anything wrong and just yesterday they replaced the amp as others have had done...but this morning, again no sound. Anybody else have this issue happen to them...any thoughts on what it might be...radio, wiring?

Your dealer needs a lesson in troubleshooting . . . . if you have sound from other sources, but not the radio, the problem will not be in the amplifier that is common to all of the I/O, but rather the with the component that houses the tuner or with the connections to the radio's antenna - probably a cracked trace on a circuit board or perhaps a poor connection to the antenna - a broken wire that makes the connection after the vibratio of starting - itt pulls open when the wires 'shrink' at night.

Love the mirror caps. Looking to get some for my Journey. They will look great with the current items on my Journey. So far I have put on a bug deflector,window visors,chrome gas cap,chrome side steps,chrome window sill treatment,chrome lower door panels,chrome lower tailgate edge and chrome fender edges.

I use this site for part numbers. Hasn't steered me wrong yet.

I found the amp, and unplugged the two plugs on the side and then reinserted. It worked, all sounds have returned. I am still going to bring it in and ask about the RRT when I get home as I don't want to be doing this for the next five years.

turns out when the girlfriend said "just leave it alone for now"... it was because she was trying to arrange to have the car striped for me as a surprise birthday gift. She realized she couldn't pull that off, so she told me last night to get quotes on getting the stripe painted and she'll pay for it. what a great gf (for more reasons than just this)

so, I am just wondering, when you went to the 235/55/19 from the 225/55/19, did the salesman explain the effects on your spedometer? He should have told you that your spedometer now will indicate incorrectly,,,,,somewhere around 5 mph below your actual speed. Just an FYI

Our laws here are worse than that, on the front you are not allowed any tint whatsoever but the back windows can be completely painted. In the city where I live, lots of people have their windows tinted. Some do lighter up front than in the back but just as many do 20% all around and never get pulled over. I had 20% on my G6 for 4 years and never had a problem with it. However, if you venture outside the city to the smaller towns (where the cops have a lot more time on their hands) you'll get pulled over and told to remove it.

Had my 8 month old Dodge delivered on Friday. One weekend with it so far and I'm enjoying it. Everyone I know is stunned that Fiat are pulling it from the market - no-ones heard of it and they're all impressed at the price, MPG and style...
Got some learning curve on the VES/UConnect system but everything else is good (do need to keep reminding myself to use 6th gear though!)
One question I guess, how to allow the kids to listen to a movie while I listen to the readio - headphones I guess, should I have received a pair with the car?
One of the remote keys is unreliable - going to change it's battery before I worry about it unduly!
