Head rest

Welcome to the forum. What do you mean "popped open"? Were you in an accident where the active head restraints deployed? The owners manual describes how to reset the head restraints. There is no recall on the head restraints that I am aware of. You can check the following website for open recalls.

My passenger side headrest deployed last week 04/02/21, with no one sitting in the seat thankfully. Based on Google and internet searches this is not an uncommon occurrence. I've posted photos of the issue. For informational purposed, I had just pulled out of my driveway and was going approximately 15 mph.

Not a recall but I did receive a letter from FCA a while back that extended the active head restraint warranty to 10 years and it covers quite a few different vehicles including the 2012-2018 Journey.I will attach the notice later.
