Washer Fluid Nozzle

12 PACK

Recommended Posts

The Mrs. told me her Journey was out of washer fluid.  The fluid was full but the hose to the nozzle came off.  Looking at it I see the plastic tip which goes into the hose looks like it's broke, that is, it's at a 45 degree angle inside the part attached to the hood.

Anyone replace one of these?  It doesn't look like the nozzle piece is easy to get at.  I reattached it, but I think it will come off again.  I might have to jury rig something to make it stay on there, i.e. superglue.

Super easy to replace. Took about a minute each. Got mine from Amazon.  The link says Jeep Patriot but it’s what I ordered for my DJ....

look through the list, it shows for Dodge.  Not worth messing with glue.

also be smart and replace the plastic tubing with  rubber tubing as well at least from the washer nozzle to the side of the hood and then part way down the fender as it cracked on mine where it bends at the corner of the hood, also helps keep it from freezing as well

Thanks for the link.  I'll bookmark it and search elsewhere for it.  Replacing the hose sounds like a good idea, too.  Thanks!

https://tinyurl.com/y3n79k28 looks like a full kit to replace everything, but the reviews aren't kind.  Maybe I should just get the nozzles and get the hose locally.

Rock Auto has the nozzles https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=10938540&cc=3309784&jsn=415 and the Mopar hose https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=5038845&cc=3309784&jsn=423 for just under $18 plus shipping (minus 5% discount available using any search engine).  I've had good luck with Rock Auto over the years.  Might as well grab some cab & air filters while I'm at it. :yup:

i have used K-N air filter for the engine on my 2011 and then kept it for my 2014 and still use it up today, no problems 70 k on the 2011 and 107 k on my current 2014 crossroad,,,also save yourself a bunch of $$$  and buy the K-N cabin air filter  as well i clean mine twice a yr just wash it out, shake off the water as best you can, then  spray it with some air fresher and stick it back in

My hood wiper nozzles broke and I had to buy from dealer, couldn’t wait for cheaper parts. Weird early failure.

K&N engine filters on non mass air flow engines are fine, you don’t have to worry about over oiling and MAF getting fouled.

I used them for years on cherokees I had. Less land fill and cost savings, win win. The 0.75 horse power gain also ? amazing.
