Sounds like you need another mechanic who knows how to perform diagnostics.....many factors can cause this code. You've addressed a few of them (plug and coil), a competent mechanic will need to check other causes:
 
Faulty spark plug in cylinder 1 (DONE) No compression in cylinder 1 Damage or excessive wear of spark plug wires and/or coils (DONE) Faulty fuel injector Clogged EGR valves or tubes Burned valves Inaccurate ignition timing Vacuum leaks Low fuel (rare) Leaking from head gasket Cracked distributor cap Faulty camshaft sensor Faulty crankshaft sensor Faulty mass air flow sensor Faulty oxygen sensor Faulty throttle position sensor Faulty catalytic converter Faulty powertrain control module

probally the 2.4 eng , and to be honest lauriezi63 you need to find a different mechanic other than pep boys as i have know 3 different people  i know that use them and they all had bad repair luck when using them...other than that without knowing which eng and part you are talking about it is hard to answer correctly

Car cooler will flatten battery in no time.  Would have to start car every 3-4 hrs if cooltron  is 3-4 amps like normal.

Welcome. I used NGK irredium plugs, ,work great no issues.  If it’s wheel bearing it will get much louder pretty quickly.
My first wheel bearing went at 205k kms, passenger front. Not hard to change.

You are best off downloading to a USB stick or using a SD card for music it works flawlessly in my 13.....good luck
