  1. That is the best ad I've ever seen. LOL!!
  2. Welcome to the forum. Lot of good info being passed around, and a lot of people waiting for and/or loving thier Journey.
  3. I have same model w/ 19" wheels. No shudder from mine, though. I would definitely take it back until fixed.
  4. Welcome I'm kind of envious. My wife hated the Magnums, but I loved them. We loped around in a boring Camry before taking the Journey.
  5. My quote (24 overall) was by calculation method. When I refueled, the dash showed 24.5 mpg, and I calculated 23.997, so the on board is a little aggresive.
  6. UPDATE: I checked the area that yours was coming from, 2009. That's not it. My squeak (very subtle) is definitely coming from the driver's side front, and only when making a hard left turn. Radon, you seem to be more informed than me, as I don't even know what a cavitation is. If you solve the riddle, let me know.

    Most miles?

    1500 miles...3 weeks
  8. I get all the car mags, also. I'm really surprised nobody has stood up for how great the Journey is. I test drove lots of things, including the almighty Highlander and Acadia. We could get a loaded SXT for 8-10 thousand less than a stripped version of either of the above. However, after test driving, we WANTED the Journey over everything else. In last month's Motor Trend, they had a comparo and the Journey came in 5th out of 5. However, when reading the comments, the only negative thing they had to say about it was "hard leather seats." The Ford Edge came in 3rd, and they had the same complaint about it, plus more. It didn't make sense to me. They are not giving the Journey a chance. Test drive the Journey. You'll love it. You'll buy it. Then you can write your own review. :cheerleader:
  9. Haven't seen any Challengers yet. They just started rolling off the lines last week, according to Motor Trend. Sounds like the dealers up there are full of it, telling all kind of crazy stories. The 09s have been on the lot with 08s for months down here in MS. What a stupid excuse.
  10. Great Job!! The othe night, I heard this a few times, but only on cetain bumps or when turning left while on an incline, putting it in a strain. It is more of a creak than a squeak, so this has to be the same problem. I'm going to check this tonight. thanks again
  11. I agree with the others....it's your speed. With my cruise on 65 mph, I averaged over 24. When I hit a 2 lane road and set my cruise on 55mph, It went over 26.
  12. I think you made the right choice, Scotstep. After a week or 2, you don't have to look down as much. Also, the steering wheel mounted controls make it easier as well. I like the little cubby bin that I would have had to give up for the navigation. We've got a handheld, so there was no need. I just wanted the MyGig.
  13. Ask Hit-By-Thunder (Rob) about this. I"m from the States and was able to check on mine with the VON. The number is on the Dodge.com site. However, Rob said that the VON didn't work in Canada. I don't know why...seems crazy to me.
  14. I've got more pics on the Photo thread. Check em out
  15. Welcome Gower, My Journey is Inferno Red. You'll love it.
  16. Welcome to the forum X Sorry about your fuel sensor issues....doesn't seem major, though. As for the smell coming off the engine, that sounds crazy. I haven't smelled anything except new car. Only thing I've noticed is mine pops and crackles a lot more than my Camry did cooling down after you turn it off. Hope it turns out to be nothing.
