  1. I was going down the road last weekend when my phone rang. I went to turn the volume down, the screen showed the volume going down, but nothing happened. So I turned the radio off. The power went off on the screen (it went to the single clock screen), but once again, nothing happened. The screen responded, but the radio did not. This continued until I got home. Once there, I turned it off for a few minutes and then back on. Everything worked perfectly then. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
  2. Left the lights on this weekend. Went to jump it off, and for the first time I realized that the battery is in the wheel well. How in the world are you supposed to get to it to change it?
  3. Greed, Welcome to the forum. I've been reading your posts. I would love to see a picture of your gear shift. I'm interested to see how it fits in the console.
  4. That's right, it only includes the wiring and the larger cooler. I was disappointed upon learning this also.
  5. We have a three year old and she loves it. She is finally able to see out. No complaints.
  6. I removed mine no problem. Like CA Jay says, you have to take the screw all the way out. Unless we have to haul something on the roof, mine are staying in the attic.
  7. No, I didn't refer the dealer to the STAR online case? I didn't read your post until after she had left. Bad timing, I know. If it is not hurting anything, I will just wait until the September TSB comes out to take it in.
  8. My wife just took mine for the second oil change and they still didn't know anything. Will this TSB reach dealers by September?

    Gas mileage

I get between 18 and 19 around town. On the highway, above 70 mph I get about 22. Below 70 I have seen it get as much as 26. This was with my cruise set on 60. for about 100 miles.
  10. Welcome to the forum. My claim to fame; We had the back hatch up and closed the garage. It scraped all the way down and we didn't know it until the next morning. OUCH!!
  11. Sorry...I have no idea what you just said. Are you saying 34psi for the front and 31 for the rear is optimum?
  12. I've also felt it when traveling fast over a crown (or large bump) in the road, and I've never heard it when turning all the way, so it is definitley not a stopper. My uncle has a car lift. I will try to get it up to look at it.

    First problem

Noticed this on the roadtrip to GA a few weeks ago. Only starts around 60-70 mph. I'm searching...
  14. Could the recall just issued be the sound we are experiencing...the left transaxle coming into contact with the wiring harness. Anybody know?
  15. Just trying to keep this thread going. Has anybody figured this out yet. I wonder if this sound is related to the recall that states the wiring harness can come into contact with the left transaxle? Please post if you have heard anything
  16. We also have a Grayco. We had to move the passeger front seat up a little bit, but not much. My wife (5'7") still has plenty of room. It fits better without the base. Somtimes we just bukle it in.
  17. Yes, it's always a sharp left turn, when you put it in a bind. There is a left turn near my house that is sharp and uphill...I hear it every time. However, it is fine with normal left turns.
  18. I hope this isn't the grind I hear when I make left turns?
  19. The "grind" happened again over the weekend when making a sharp left turn. This time I felt it through the steering column. I'm still not going to take it back. More than likely, the dealership will have no clue and just keep mine for a week or so w/out fixing. I'll just wait a while to see if Chysler addresses the problem, or somebody on the forum figures it out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
  20. I've seen a few. My wife saw a white one the other day. I enjoy having the only one in my area. My only question is, if they can't keep them on the lot, where are they going?
  21. Here's the crazy thing...it doesn't do it with the A/C off. I read this on another forum, so I tried it. A/C on, it squeaks; A/C off, no squeak. WEIRD??
  22. Looks familiar....wait, it's just like mine. I love it!!!
  23. I'm on the Love side of the fence. It doesn't obstruct any of my rear view and we use it all the time with a 2 year old and 3 month old. This, along with the built in boosters, was a major deciding factor for us.
