  1. Hey Ray, I'm a MS boy, too....still waiting for my Journey. Congratulations on yours. The Acadia was our next choice, also. We were hoping to get a used one for around 25,000, but even that was hard to find. I was able to order a new Journey for less than that, so we are very happy. I'm in the Tupelo area, will I see you black Journey around here?
  2. I will pay $50 extra for a Mississippi State University tag. It comes with the univ. logo on it. This is my alma mata.
  3. Ford Ranger Nissan Frontier Crew Cab Toyota Camry and a short stint with an inherited Oldsmobile 98.
  4. Found out mine was shipped yesterday, the 21st. After ship date, the coporate number can no longer help. I'll have to go through the dealer from now on. They said it would take 4-6 weeks to arrive...sounds like a logistic nightmare to me. At least I know it is built and out there somewhere with my name on it.
  5. My dealer gave me a von (vehicle order number), so I don't constantly call and bug him. I can call Chrysler's corporate help line, 1-800-992-1997. They will tell you the build status any time. I ordered mine Aril 1st and the scheduled ship date is April 21st. I call about twice a week to check on the status. Hope this helps.
  6. I have a Caravelle 17' ski boat. My 2001 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab with a 3.3L V6 pulls it fine. I never pull it far...we have it in storage about 5 miles from where we dock. I know the Dodge website claims 3,500 lbs, but I was wondering if anybody has real world numbers of what you have pulled with your Journey???
  7. FWD SXT Inferno REd Options include: Sunroof Flex seating (3rd row) Appearance package (roof rails and 19" wheels Convenience group I Safe and Sound Group (My Gig w/ backup camera) Towing Prep Package Price: $23,500 Finally driving it when it comes in: Priceless
  8. Thanks. I was wondering how mine would look w/out the navigation. I like it better on the bottom. It doesn't take away the extra storage. The radio looks weird at first on the bottom, but when I test drove one, I realized why they did it. When you drive, you rest your hand on the shifter, which is inches away from the controls. Plus, I got controls on the steering wheel.
  9. Welcome to the forum. Your order sounds exactly like mine, with the exception of color (I got the inferno pearl red) and trailor package. I orderd mine April 1.
  10. We did the dealer search thing. Closest one that fit was in Atlanta, bu it still didn't have the integrated booster seats in the second row. That was the kicker. The dealer in Memphis had 13 on his lot...none of which had the third row option. He asked me how important a third row was to me. My reply...If I only needed two rows, I would keep my Camry. Dealer was not informed at all. He told me they all had three rows. I took off work to come from Tupelo and pick it up. When he realized the mistake he made, and how upset I was about to become, he told me he would order me one for his costs. I got the SXT loaded out for 23,000

    Where do you live?

Tupelo, MS...10 miles from where the new Highlanders will be built starting in 09...and I just ordered my Journey.
  12. I ordered my Journey this morning from Memphis, but it will take up to two months to come in. I ordered Inferno Pearl Red SXT w/ sunroof, appearance pkg, My Gig, and integrated child seats. Can't wait!
