Well, we just got back from our first big road trip, or Journey, of thte year...my cousins wedding in south Texas. It was a 14 hour drive one way. We left Thursday and returned Sunday. I'm give out, but the Journey did well. Averaged just over 23 mpg with an average speed of around 70. Put 1,600 miles on it over the entire weekend. We have two kids, 3 years and 1 year old. We plugged the laptop in to the outlet so the 3 yr old could watch Dora. Seats were comfortable over the entire trip...no soreness. Had plenty of cargo room. I like being able to stand suitcases up and still able to reach cooler. Cooler in dash stayed cool enough to keep grapes cool, but not soda cans. Coolers in floor are better suited for storage, as the ice melts within 2-3 hours. Sirius radio is a must for road trips. Overall, I was impressed with the Journey. It is definitely a great road trip vehicle. Just thought I would share.

Same thing here with squeak in rear wheel well. Picked up the car...backed out the driveway....SQUEEEEAK. Did they not think to test it before they told me the problem was solved. How hard would that be. We love our Journey, but the service is rediculous. These are small issues that I expected with a first year model JUST FIX THEM!!!!!

I love it...gotta have it...Costs???

The Lane change blinker is one of my favorite features while driving. I wish my F150 had it. I think it's genius. I understand that we've all has some problems but let's not get crazy here.

Hey Jaymista, did you just call it a "van." My wife would be out for blood if she heard someone call her Journey a van. she bought the Journey b/c she hates the Minivan stigma. LOL!

7 Months!!! That's insane. I was pissed at the idea of waiting six weeks.

I really like the looks of my Journey. However, one thing really bugs me...The big chrome cross-hair grill. Don't get me wrong. I think it looks great on the new Ram, and I don't mind the cross-hairs. And if I had the chrome (clad) wheels, I wouldn't mind as much. But I have the 19" aluminum wheels. I would love to have an aluminumn grill. Does anyone make these?

Not a problem Wyoram. I'd be worked up if I had your sunroof issues, also. Mine is mainly just an annoying squeak. At least I don't get soaked every time it rains. What worries me though is if they guessed on the squeak did they also guess on the cause of it losing power while going down the road? I don't want to think about it. Hey Sam, sounds like you found the source, but how did you fix it?

Well, the squeak is still there, loud and clear. It fustrates me that they kept my car for over a week, replace all the bushings, and then don't even take the time to drive it to make sure they fixed the problem. A little common sense, please.

Got it back yesterday. The problem appears to be fixed. They also replaced bushings in the rear to alleviate a squeak that's been driving me insane. Took forever for the parts to come in, but hopefully everything is good now.
